What would the site need in order to have the ads removed?  As in how much money would be necessary annually to remove ads?

Depends on number of users.  Last year I switched to a user based cost structure.

It is possible to remove ads by user to an extent.

Are you experiencing problems with ads?

What would it take for you to break even on a subscription type structure? I feel like there's enough of us who come here often enough to justify it as an entertainment expense we'd be willing to pay for.

I'd subscribe. Heck, I'm paying $35 a month to one company just because I'm too lazy to call them up and cancel it. I don't even know my password. I'm definitely a fiscally responsible human being.

Side note, I'm sending this post from my $20 American Airlines in-flight wifi on my way to Vegas, so we better put together that subscription thing quickly before I run out of money.

I wiped my ass today with a $5 just because the toilet paper was in the other bathroom. Let's do this!

Well I for one value my Ukranian Marriage ads.  I am also now downloading my free version of Mobile Strike and signing up for a Jazz Camp.  This is important stuff!

What do you think would be a fair amount - monthly - to have ad free access?

(yes, we've been here before)

I'd pay $5-$10 and not even check with my wife before doing it. I'm fine with the ads still being there. I'm just saying I'd be ok with paying $50-$75 a year just to keep you up and running without having to remember to drop a few bucks in the donation account when the button shows up.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
