Thank a vet: Salute to Service Day Nov. 14

Just a reminder that the upcoming Temple home game is Salute to Service Day where we honor those in military service both past and current.  If you have the opportunity, please consider bringing a vet or service man or woman to the game.  If you are a veteran or member of the armed forces, let me personally thank you for service.  I also want to personally thank the designated "Hero of the Game" for all he has sacrificed and done for me and my family so that we may have the opportunity to live in freedom and prosperity in the USA.   I salute you all!

Thanks for the reminder, Silver. 

In the past, we could buy tickets to be donated to those in the armed forces so that they could attend free of charge.  Perhaps John Lewis can chime in to let us know if this is being done for this year's game.

Well said. I' sure you'll be able to find plenty of vets on 11/11 if you have extras to hand out.

A need also exists to help support the USF Veterans tailgate....  this goes directly to USF Student Veterans Svcs
