Their offense is a one trick pony.  Its matt davis and nobody else.  Uconn had shirrefs and newsome.  

And like many have said, their defense is no bueno.  If flowers continues to be efficient in the air, this game wont be close

SMU offense ranks: 424 ypg (53rd) and 30.8 ppg (61st). Memphis: 533ypg (10th) and 46 ppg (4th).   For comparison we are 418 ypg (56th) and 28.8 ppg (71st).

Only close loss was to James Madison. We should beat these guys. Offense just needs to stay consistent.

About as important as plus/minus numbers in hockey...not much. 

Actually, I think this DOES matter, in that it speaks to SOS. A team that is 0-6 could be a LOT more dangerous than a 3-3 team who loses to poor teams.

That said, I have very little doubt we can pound them all game long, if we play smash mouth football and avoid/mitigate turnovers.  My biggest concern is how we stop their offense...they have plenty of skill on O, and a shootout isn't likely our forte.

Yeah but some of those games were against teams with questionable defenses (see TCU in particular) and they were fortunate  to have played Baylor early in the season. I don't believe they could hang with Baylor now. Again, there are too many factors for me to consider the information relevant.
