The run blckng and competent rb play we should get 6 yd per avg rushing and 5 wins. With a decent Qb play we might get 6 to 7 wins. With a good in game coaching i.e. identifying mis matches good plays low penalties we will be 8 to 9 wins. So based on what we know it s going to be a toughly contested 5 win campaign.
Guest
Offense ... Flowers will have an up-down season... he will have at least one game with 100 yards rushing... he will throw about the same number of INTs as Touchdowns... he will make 3 "holy cow" plays that avoid a sack and get a big play... he will lead the team on a come from behind win... (by the end of the season we'll be comparing him to Grothe & BJ)... Bench play some games... Kean will redshirt. Mack will break 1000 yards again, despite splitting time with Johnson and Tice. Rodney Adams will lead the team in receptions but Whitehad will be the clutch receiver when we need a third down Defense ... Josh Black will lead the team in sacks, and will be in the Top 10 nationally Byrd will be among the national leaders tackles for loss Harris will continue to be a hard hitter, forcing at least 4 fumbles... one to save a win Johnny Ward will have at least 5 INTs and one for a pick-six The overall defense will be a Top 30 as a unit Special Teams Nadelman will not miss a FG under 40 yards Ciabatti will lead the conference in punt yardage, and our coverage team will lead the conference in lowest return yards Either Adams or Childs will break a return for TD this season USF will win a game we think it should lose... and it will lose a game we think it should win... but I expect the team to do just enough to get to 7-5... I like your take and hope your right. I would like for CWT to get a "true" 3rd season with his players. After that there are really no excuses if the team doesn't show improvement.
