Hi Everyone,

We got ticket information from Athletics today. You can buy tickets for UMD/Navy through the host schools, not USF.

Maryland – Single game tickets will be available beginning July 29. You may contact Maryland’s ticket office at 301-304-7070

Navy – Single game are currently available by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY

The NYC and Philadelphia alumni chapters are coming down as well, so it should be a good group.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.

Hey Genevieve, thanks for checking. So it looks like we're on our own for tickets, then? No plans to acquire blocks together and create real visitors sections? Or perhaps the host schools have a designated visitors section we can buy in?

Any plans for a local tailgate, separate from what the national alumni association is doing, or are you guys just planning on joining the national tailgate?

Thanks!

The only bad thing about playing Navy is that the "Girls of" thread will probably not be a big hit ...

Navy does have a section for USF fans. Check earlier posts of this thread.

I'd like to sit with some of you guys...would be cool if we had some coordination.

Same here. Ima gonna get loud, and I'd rather do it in my own herd!

TexanMark's idea is a good one, but it doesn't look like the local chapter is going to front the funds and take the risk, and I can't either.

But I'm willing to be the local "boots on the ground" for either or both games if we can figure out a way to do this.

The visiting tickets usually went to sections 32 , 132, 25, 125. 32 and 25 would be the lower level of the stadium around the 10 yard lines, 32 is kind of cool because that is near the section where the mids march onto the field so they march out past you on their way to the formation on the field. 132 and 125 are the second levels right above 32 and 25. In addition if you are in 32 USF will come out of the tunnel past you to get to the bench if you are looking to cheer them on prior to the game. Not sure if USF does the alma mater after the game (new to the USF area) , but when game is over Navy players will stand behind your players if they do so at the end of the game. Winner sings second, Navy will will go over to the Brigade of Midshipmen when it is their turn. I am not going this year as I am on vacation and have seen nearly 50 games there but I would try for section 32 or 31 if you can get them. Once you get out of that area you will be in the middle of Navy season ticket holders

Hoagie, appreciate the insight.  Question:  any concerns with the lower section, in terms of seeing the entire field?  The only downside with lower bowl is that you sometimes are view obstructed.

Thanks for sharing the info.  Should be a great atmosphere.

Really looking forward to this one! Negotiating to buy a sailboat at the moment, and if all goes well, hoping to have it docked at Annapolis harbor that day (wishful thinking in triplicates here!()

First five rows can be tough to see the one corner of the field because of players lined up on the sideline but other than that you should be fine, but even that is very limited area that will cause a problem. Bring sun glasses because when looking straight across the field you will be looking straight into the sun that time of the year. I have only been to one noon game there in my life, I think one was air force on national tv. Normal game time for Navy games was always 3:30 and all were televised, I see this year they have a couple noon games.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
