    Yeah not sold on Danny Thomas yet. Sawtelle has played fairly well in limited action. I also think Auggie would be better suited in that OLB role rather than taking on unblocked lineman leaving him trying to shed and drag the ball carrier down 7-8 yards downfield. Not a knock on him, just what best fits his abilities.

    Honestly we should go to more of a 4-4 set against Navy with 2 OLB (Auggie and Sawtelle IMO) playing on the LOS with Cherry and Nigel in the middle. Leave the corner(s) one on one with whatever WR is out there and play disciplined at the first and second levels.

    Very ignorant to say without seeing the All 22 tape. A majority of our plays were with WR set up far outside the hashes. Screen and wheels etc. Blame him all you want for not throwing in the middle of the field, but he played a fantastic game

    He threw the ball really well tonight. One bad pass to Rodney on the bubble. Outside of that he was money. Problem being we didn't have the ball enough because the defense couldn't get off the field

    Because that's not good enough when you schematically have a FB on a nickel corner all night long. The DL was slanting inside all night long which was terrible being they never ran inside once. That made the weak side safety or corner one on one with the RB 3 yards passed the LOS.

    We are actually getting a decent pass rush considering how much they are running the ball. You can't over pursue on a pass rush and expect to stop the run as a DL at the same time.

    Going to need good play from the DBs in the 2nd half. Matt Rhule is a good coach. He knows we are going to look to stop the run, have to be able to stop the PA pass on first and 3rd down

    It's really is a lot on the players. Would be nice to see Cecil on the field. Auggie is more of a OLB

    Yeah that's the only place that sort of scares me at this point. One interesting note is that Fedora only made 1.9 mill last year. 200K more than Taggart here. I don't see him leaving this program and these kids for 200K

    Jahad is one to worry about, but if we can continue the aggressive style of play on defense PJ will turn it over to us. Just have to make sure we don't give it back.

    They lost at least 2 starting WR, and their defense has taken a significant step back with the loss of Matekavich

    Interesting that we didn't run the "wishbone" formation once tonight. Anyone could go back and watch last years film and see that was our most successful formation. Not saying we should've, just interesting. Also, QF really needs to make that throw outside if he's going to throw into single coverage with the safety looming. Looked like a replay of FSU pick
