  1. You have to try and turn two there. Do or die you have to at least try it
  2. Agreed. Very hittable. And then he breaks it off a bit more when he gets ahead
  3. He's been about 75-25, get me over sliders. However, they have been just that. Get me overs. Very hittable. He's almost unhittable when he gets ahead and can pick at corners
  4. We have to make an adjustment at some point. They have attacked us with off speed for 9 straight innings.
  5. If they throw their closer, we better change our approach. He will throw a lot of offspeed as well
  6. At least that should be the last inning for Faedo. We just couldn't figure him out at all
  7. Good adjustment by Villar. Finally someone was able to stay on the offspeed stuff
  8. Huuge. Chatfield sit on offspeed this inning and drive one
  9. That 3-2 pitch looked pretty dang good. Come on
  10. This umpire has been pretty inconsistent all night
  11. I know, and the AB before he attacked him with offspeed. Have to be looking for that. The 2-1 meeting to the mound was a huge indicator that's how they wanted to go after him
  12. You have to know the offspeed stuff is coming there. Both Merrell and Borders.
  13. Just need to keep it right here. We are going to have more chances to score. Valdes has to be careful with that change up next time through
  14. Agreed. Especially with the break between tournaments.
  15. Any idea where Phoenix sits Velo wise? Haven't been able to catch a game where they have the radar on him.
  16. Huge difference between what Taggart tried to do, and what Gilbert is bringing. It simply means more pulling guards and down hill scheme. Still out of the gun and with built in RPO's.
  17. Watched the video of Texas offense vs ND defense from 2016 the other day. There are some general similarities between Gilberts offense and what we ran last season. Similarities Very much uptempo, actually might be faster than what we saw last season. Everything is based off of the run game. RPO's are a staple, albeit slightly different. Vertical shots will be taken early and often. Differences More of a power run philosophy with guards pulling consistently. Heavy use of TE in the wing position. RPO's focus on weakside WR running a hitch, rather than bubble. Passing game has more reads and hots built in than previous. This offense will be fun, but different. You won't see a ton of screens, although the hitch concept with the RPO serves the same purpose. The hitch sets up the vertical which will keep the boundary corners on their heels. I believe you will see QF get the ball out of his hands even faster (for better or worse) when the offense is spread out. Find the mismatch and hit it right away. The base package seems to have at least 3 reads built in to each play, allowing the offense to get on the ball quicker without looking over the sidelines for the call. I see no reason this offense won't continue to put up 40 a game. Good luck defenses.
  18. Currently having an issue with Bullsvision. Gets stuck on the loading screen saying it's 100% loaded and goes no further. Anyone else experiencing this?
  19. Marlon Gonzalez is like 260 lbs. Hes not playing nose tackle. And I agree, the kelvins tape look solid....against high school kids. They should not be relied upon to eat double teams at a level they haven't even played a snap yet.
