Our defense sucks again..

WTF. Idk about the others, but these guys aren't even the best defenders on our team, much less All-Americans.

If we had Pearl and went back to the NCAAT even with a follow-up MBB problem it'd be better than the apathetic, non-existent fan base we have now for a largely winless team. You guys overestimate how long it'll take for these programs and their fans to just forget about all this. Do you think Penn St. would trade in Paterno to have avoided the situations that happened because of him? Did it really take that long to recover from it? If they never had him, would they even be relevant enough to have something to recover from? Same thing for UL, it's not like they'll lose sponsorship money from the past or conference revenue in the future. They'll be back competing for championships before we will be. In no small part because they've chosen to skirt the rules. I'm proud our school has generally been on the up and up, but there are costs to it as well.

This. Flukes happen. I want every other team in our division to have 2 conference losses.

They have an OCS with fewer than 35K, and the place is popping, loud, and happening. Make this happen, Harlan.

As bad as this is for UL (and others) they're still got the grand prize, P5 membership. The ACC should boot them and add us.

I stand by what I said earlier, including MVS needing a good season to be drafted. He's not doing what he needs to, though. As far as Nichols, Kiper is just late to my prediction.

UA sucks. I don't know what you guys are talking about. All their fan clothes are ugly. Obviously can't speak to the game equipment, however. That said, go with whoever pays the most even if it's Puma or Fila.

I think there's doubt. He wasn't even necessarily the best player on his team last year (Mack). Jenkins and JPP give him a run too. They were first rounders for a reason. Obviously none of the above had as much of an impact as a star QB - a CB can't completely alter a game on his own - but if that's the criteria then only QBs are in the running as best players, which is false.

Maybe. But I wouldn't have had the feeling of panic.

I went to USF/UConn game in Connecticut a few years ago. What a dump, and is far away from main campus. They don't get to mock USF about anything.

It's a good thing we just have to go 11-0, then win a conf champ game :).

I'll never forget during the helmet challenge ESPN had going on years ago, when USF beat FSU's helmet, that Rece f'n Davis got so upset that he took our helmet off the pedestal and put it on the floor. WTF? We have a knack for having pure unadulterated hatred from certain people. I really don't get it, what did we ever do to Rece? P.S. I wrote a program to issue 1000s of votes for that contest. **** you Rece :).

There's also a **** ton of bias. I'm just happy they're not ranked above is still. Let's be clear though, if they didn't lose, we'd have lost ground on a week we have the 4th best defensive outting in history. I suspect that's exactly what'll happen in the AP. That's a shame.

Anyone worried about pronoun use is the one with thin skin..

SDSU jumps us this week in AP, I'd bet. And that sucks. FSU stays above us, so does UF. Neither deserves to be. LSU might even jump us due to the SEC hard on. Oregon definitely jumps us if they pull out a W. Utah is jumping us. MS State drops below. I predict somewhere between 19-23. Likely, 22. (+1, -2)

In a vacuum, none of the criticality displayed toward USF was unfair or inaccurate. In the real world, the rampant criticism for arguably the best G5 team in the country was ridiculous; especially when you consider they cited our undisciplined play as a reason... SDSU is even more undisciplined... What's more, the criticism was inordinate to the amount of critical feedback being said about Temple, the far lesser team of the evening and season. For as bad as they were saying our QB was throwing and our receivers dropping passes, you'd have assumed QF had 4 interceptions, not Temple's trio. We held a team to negative rush yards and less than 100 yards of offense. You'd think they'd have taken more of a **** on them at some point in the evening? Nope. Instead, they were waiting for us to fall apart after the forced fumble on Q and pointing out BS like "has a QB ever gotten targeting?"... has a RB? STFU. They're idiots.

MVS has run good routes this year, but dropped so many balls I'd wager it's already cost him a draft spot.
