  1. Stub Hub prices have already fallen. I guess I won't be financing next year's season tickets with one game this year. Not that I would have actually sold my tickets, but it always gets a mention in my house, that we may be able to sell one big game for the total cost of tickets and donation. Sucks for us, and gives Houston a chance to get the national spotlight again later this year if UL keeps it up. We need to handle our business and hope that we are top 20 by year's end and get a shot at UH as a top 5 school. That gives us a chance to show top 5-10 caliber, and we may then have a sliver of hope. Either way, sucks to be FSU and get beat down two weeks in a row!
  2. Another thing to look for is the laces. On the longer plays QBs can get the laces lined up with their throwing hand as the survey the field / wait for their receivers to get down field. Short throws are often thrown from the same position you catch the snap in, especially in shotgun. We'll see what they can do, but I bet they work on it...
  3. I believe QF can clean up the short stuff. I think he is inconsistent in his release and foot work on short passes. When the pass is short everything happens a little faster and it looked to me like he wasn't setting his feet as well. When he checked down to the short pass he threw it well because he took the time. Hopefully they practice the quick snap-three step-pass motion. I'm excited for the season to progress. Defense needs to hold up against good competition. That is the scariest part. We need to hold them under 20 points to make it a good game.
  4. It's a setup to catch the criminals. Like the free football game to get dead beat dads in one spot...
  5. C'mon, I'm interested in the logic, because I really don't see it. Or maybe logic is the wrong word when we are 22 pages into a thread about our 2nd - 3rd string QB who has never taken the field for us.
  6. Where does a coaches responsibility end? These are grown men of legal age, but every coach out there talks about their job being to teach these young men about responsibility and accountability. They say it all of the time, so they need to held accountable to some extent when it doesn't work out. Sucks though, Chris had huge upside. Let's hope this is the end of the failures.
  7. I agree. QF is the best QB we have had in a while if not ever, but that is yet to be seen. I'd be playing him all day, but I'd like to see both succeed and our team get benefit from both players. But, I'm with you with the best man being on the field in key positions. Right now and for the foreseeable future, Flowers should be our QB.
  8. Are you high? How does this parallel Eveld in any way? Do please elaborate...
  9. Agreed. That play made me want to quit watching college football. The whole thing is rigged. I bet that call has NEVER been made since that game. Thank you world, thank you karma, and thank you Big East officials. Worst feeling ever watching those Jersey D-bags celebrate all while listening to them chant F USF at me and my pregnant wife as we walked silently to the bus to be taken to our car in their complete toilet bowl of a stadium, town and state. Sorry, I haven't thought of that for a while and I think I needed to vent... Also, Greg Schiano is a cheating piece of dog feces that I hope never coaches again. Ahhhhhhhhh......
  10. I'd like to see AW grow into an NFL QB and QF grow into an NFL wide out. Honestly that would be best for our team and each guy's best chance at playing after college.
  11. We are the only non P5 school on the list, so that makes our odds a little longer. Thanks to likely starting out as at least 'receiving votes', if we can win all of our games including a conference championship game I would suspect a top 10 finish would be near guaranteed, and a top 4 finish could happen. I just hope we win the east and have a chance at a respectable bowl, but I could see us as a possibility. Our Harlan would give his left rock for that to happen. He'd have something to sell to the P5 at that point. Heck, even if we were up there and they shunned us he could sell it as a team that can get there.
  12. I like Flowers to start. Having said that, I will also say that it would take a very mature coach, team and player to go through spring, and IF IT IS THE CASE (which I have no idea), identify that the team would be in a better position to win with Woulard for them to move Flowers to receiver / punt returns. The reason I say that is because IF Woulard separated himself even in the spring, most schools would stick with the guy who excelled last year. The logical thing for all parties is to go with Woulard IF he steps up because it gives Flowers the best chance of playing at the next level, it gives Woulard the best chance of playing at the next level and in the scenario it would give our team the best chance to win. AGAIN ALL THAT IS A BIG IF! But, there are logical reasons to go with Woulard given even a tie on paper, and that would mean Woulard outperforms Flowers in Spring enough to overcome the game experience and success of Flowers. It would also give us a successful option should Woulard bomb. Win - win if it worked out this way, because Flowers is honestly not likely to make an NFL team under center.
  13. I always heard in the past that bowls didn't really like hometown teams because of the reduced revenue of no hotel stays. Not sure if they really care about the local economy anymore though considering the TV revenue. Also, I'm not a huge fan of this, but a Willie T versus WKU match up would have a great back story. Might bring our a few extra WKU fans.
  14. Yeah, I have looked all over. I shut it off in the fourth quarter to watch later and kept away from tvs all afternoon just to find out that I should always just watch the dang game even if it pisses the misses off...
  15. Does anyone know if the game is available yet for replay?
  16. Fullwood. Many good plays on coverage, run defense and special teams.
  17. I like the defense this year, and I think they can get us to a bowl game. The offense however beat themselves. We had every opportunity to gain many more yards and potentially score, but the bad throws and dropped passes were atrocious. I hope Flowers gets his feel down. He sees the receivers, just couldn't get it to them today...
  18. Why did they get to burn another play clock after the challenge?!? Wth!
  19. He seemed fine to me. Is he the next Heisman winner, not likely. BUT, he made negative plays positive, he hit receivers better than we've seen in recent years and he looked comfortable. We haven't had that since BJ and Matt. Anyone out right complaining on here right now MUST have amnesia.
  20. His numbers were good for two and a half quarters of football. He three one int on a play where he got hit. He accounted for over 200 yards and was on pace for 350. I kind of think that saying he was terrible is quite dumb.
  21. FYI. I heard that lot 14 won't be open this year. That should cause a nightmare somewhere given the number of cars that park there every game. Especially for games that are well traveled like FAMU and Syracuse. If they really don't open that lot at all this year, parking is going to suck.
  22. I expected a four minute video of the green helmet with the gold U... Maybe six or seven different angles. Oh and that 3rd down music playing. THe one that I'm pretty sure had lyrics that went like this..."You should have no trouble getting a first down!!!!!!!" Sang to crazy fiddle music. I'm sad...
  23. I just hope that tweaking the offense to the players skills doesn't mean building an offense around Flowers. That is my fear at this point. We throw everything away to run some option style offense just to fire Taggart and start all over in two years. This feels more like a curse than simply a bad football team. Everyone needs to lookup some kind of ceremony to remove evil spirits and keep doing it until September.
  24. Hopefully coach O names adjustments. Down by 11 on the road at the half isn't over by a long run. No luck on me watching today. Using android, so couldn't get a pop up blocker with enough gumption to stop those tenacious virus sights. Oh well, I'm gonna tap out of the thread and avoid social media in hopes that I can watch it once it is posted as a replay on espn3. Good luck, God speed, and GO F-ing BULLS!
  25. Can't get those links to actually work. We've been down by more than 11 with less than a half to play. Can't be as bad as y'all are making it sound. Dang I want to watch the second half! Any tips on getting these pop-up sites to actually show the game?
