    I find it odd that the only guy on this list that is labeled slower than Mack is the guy from Pitt who overcame cancer. I think Mack is faster than SOME of the top 24 other possible RB picks. He's a second gear guy who doesn't get caught from behind often if ever.

    Only screws up APR if they don't end up graduating in a set period of time, I believe. Doesn't matter where they graduate from as long as they get their degree in 4 or 5 years or something like that.

    Agreed. Team needs more support than ever. Going to try everything I can to snag an extra day off and make the 20 hour round trip and game... Leave at 4 am, game till 6 pm home by 2 am. Long one, but would be worth it.

    Hey, silver lining / glimmer of hope here. Just trying not to imagine the three year slide we saw with Holtz and the fact that I won't be a part of another one. I can't invest thousands of dollars to watch the program fall apart again.

    I think we would have to ride the ESPN machine along the way. They would want to play up our coaches success. That gets us on ballets like it or not. That moves us up of we win. People will give our team more credibility with Strong as head coach.

    To clarify though, I don't believe those things to all be likely. However, we should win the bowl game, it's our most feasible undefeated season ever, and very year crazy stuff happens. Then if they could land Strong, the talk of his success alone keeps us moving up the rankings as we win. It's unlikely overall, but we've never had a more attainable path.

    So even our own head coach doesn't believe it's ever possible here. I do seriously see a path next year with help from the football gods of course, steering the top coveted programs to a couple losses. If we beat S. Carolina we head into the season around 20th. Follow that up with 12 - 0 regular season and a stomping of Navy for 13 - 0 along with national attention from a Strong hire (pun intended), and we have a recipe to join the big boys table. We are going to have to force our way in. Make people want us. Our offense can do it next year. With a little Stronger defense, we could have the first African-American head coach national champion.

    He didn't even double his income, but he made the right decision to move up. That being said, he says he wants to be the first African-American coach to win a national championship. I'd like to see us hire Charlie Strong, start out about 22nd and work our way up to pull off the miracle playoff run. Then we pay Charlie $3M a year and Taggert can sit in his private plane and reminisce his soon to be 3 - 9 season while rebuilding.

    At first I thought, hey you can't fault a guy, but screw that. I will continue being a fan, but the players are really feeling deceived right now. This kills recruiting in the g5 schools. Every kid out there is going to avoid following an up and coming coach because they know he's out as soon as they get the money. And don't be mistaken. This is strictly about money. We wilI start the year ranked and be able to make waves in the CFP with a 12-0 season, so he could accomplish goals here. This is just money. I wish everyone luck, but my compassion goes out to our team right now. They are going to be a little lost.

    I like Taggert, but I root for the Bulls. Willie seems to have dropped of the posts on twitter. Doesn't look good. Here's to hoping our administration starts a trend of building coaching resumes until we become a destination.

    I was in agreement with you last night, but with Rhule going to Baylor, Taggert still up for Oregon, we may be looking at a Kiffin vs Schiano cluster at the helm. I don't think the admin would let Schiano take the wheel of any Tampa team again, but who the heck knows.

    How about this? Lane Kidding or Greg Schiano? I personally would rather have freaking Skip Holtz back before they even entertain the idea of the slimy Jersey boy.

    Also, IF Taggert leaves we could go after a defensive mind. At least we'd have a better chance of next year being the year we need to stay attractive to any possible P5 suitors. I mean someone had to have mention kicking Rutgers out, right?

    I would not be angry with a man for taking a pay raise in the 100% range. I would have the same feeling in my gut with our admins picking a new head coach, as I did when Pat Julmiste dropped back to pass on 3rd and 13. No faith at this point in their ability. They can prove me wrong and get two on a row, then I'll feel better but as of right now we are 1 for 2 on head coaches over the last 10 years.

    My fear is that he has been running a wide open offense here, and I know that when Oregon was successful they were running something similar. Their big money comes from someone who liked to watch speed and earned his billions because of fast athletes. Willie makes since as a coach for Nike's corporate college program. I hope his ties here are strong.

    I like ball security, by d-lineman practice the scoop and score. It's actually the correct play that close to the goal line.

    It would make the world seem right, if Butgirls was removed from the big ten and we filled in once we get the offer to join AAU.

    FYI. The food truck (tongue thai'd) is owned by a USF alum. Good guy and great food! He also had a restaurant in Brandon called Chai Yo. Try it out!

    Player of the game was BS. He was a good receiver, but c'mon. They scored 3 f-ing points in the last 3 quarters. Sucks that ESPN owns the ACC...
