  1. I like the way you think. Do you have any idea if these fatheads are "reusable", ie. once you put it up can it be taken down and reapplied? Thanks. Yuppers. http://www.fathead.com/faq/ They've got something called a street grip now, that's designed for concrete/ asphalt. It's permanent, but might do what you want. They also do foam-backed heads - if you ask them, they might do a foam backed Didn't see USF being available for the street grip. Looked through all the categories and the iconic U was the only USF gear that I found on their site. That's why I said call asn ask - I think they can do just about anythign as a custom quote. Well, if only I paid attention to what I was reading. Must be the paint fumes. The green wall got done yesterday and the gold walls are drying around me. Really look great as they dry. Pix or it didn't happen!!!!!!! You are assuming I know how to put a picture up on this new site. Notice the scoreboard by my name? I haven't been able to figure out how to put my pic of the ND game scoreboard up. Not sure how the colors would show up in a photo. Got the paint at home depot. Glidden supposedly has the "official colors" available. They may not be perfect but they are looking good.
  2. So instead of mounting it to the plywood you are suggesting the thicker styrofoam. Will the fathead adhere to that?

  4. Agree. But need someone with artistic ability. My stick figures look poor.

  6. Sacramento to Reno is between 2 and 2.5 hours by car, but it's a nice drive at that time of year. If you're looking for something else to do, the Great Reno Balloon Race is also happening that week and the Aces (local minor league baseball team) will have their final regular season home game a few days earlier. Have been to a couple of Aces games. Great ball park and the surrounding area is starting to build up nicely. A friend of a friend is the Pres. of Minor League Baseball and we got to sit in the owner's suite with him. We were there a couple of years ago and they had to delay the game because of HAIL. It was the mother lode of hail storms.

  8. Just repainting the office at home in Bulls colors; 1 wall green the other 3 in gold. Looks good so far. Would love to put the iconic U on one of the walls. Went to the fathead site and they don't recommend putting their stuff on textured walls. So I need some advice and help. Has anyone tried putting a fathead on a wall with orange peel texture and did it work out? If that turns out not to be an option, does anyone know where to get a stencil or can anyone make a stencil of the iconic U or paint one on freehand? We are not artists and can't do things freehand. If anyone has done that before, I'd be willing to pay for either the stencil or to have someone paint it on our wall. I've thought about painting a thin piece of plywood, then applying the fathead to that, and then mounting that on the wall. Not quite sure how that would look however. Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  9. We are going to be in Reno a few weeks before the game so won't be making a trip back across the country so soon. Looked into rooms at a couple of the casinos and, if I remember correctly, the Peppermill was a better deal than the Atlantis. We usually stay at the Atlantis, but go with friends who get our room comped. Both of those are a little bit south of downtown, closer to the airport. The downtown casinos are pretty old. I would recommend the Atlantis or Peppermill.
  10. It is a stretch saying that what he did while on the court even resembled basketball.
  11. There is a difference between coming back and coming back prepared to compete and the highest level. Skip isn't a doctor so I'm going forward with cautious optimism on this.
  12. Funny you mention ND's arena. I said the same thing to Bill McGillis while getting a tour from him. The private boxes and club area make ours different, but overall I got the feel of the ND arena.
  13. What? Is Pearl River CC at their max of USF spots?
  14. Per article - "Look at Sam Cassell, he looks like an alien mated with a human and then smashed it's face in with a brick at birth." That's just F'd up. I personally wouldn't sleep with the guy, but c'mon he's not that bad looking of a guy. Well when you're rich and famous it doesn't matter how you look. Some of the finest females on the planet will think you're a beautiful person. Look at Tyrone "Tea Time" Hill. As one article said, "he's the walking definition of ugly." Yet this guy had a beautiful wife and gets to cheat with many other women. That list wasn't that bad. They have nothin' on baseball's Willie McGee http://www.google.com/imgres?q=willie+mcgee&um=1&hl=en&safe=off&sa=N&biw=1067&bih=522&tbm=isch&tbnid=_ZLmj8FzHLfH2M:&imgrefurl=http://www.facebook.com/people/Willie-McGee/100001662889805&docid=opHb4vYMB6qJ1M&imgurl=http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-snc4/49908_100001662889805_7001181_n.jpg&w=171&h=240&ei=ZK1vT42lLMae2gXU5-TxAQ&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=650&sig=104880768687621364048&page=1&tbnh=139&tbnw=96&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=48&ty=78
  15. If we go, we might be able to help you out. My wife is a great DD.
  16. I just wonder if people will remember that thinking when we lose Tampa kids to bigger programs outside the area.
  17. Can I plea bargain down to a charge of Bullspen Misleadence? I heard that if I am guilty of not using the appropriate emoticon that I could be sentenced to reading all of Smazza's 189,000 posts.
  18. You guys are just so freakin easy. I was kidding. Do I need to put a smiley after every sarcastic remark I make. That is usually my MO on here. You should know that by now.
  19. Doesn't like cold weather? Someone better tell him half our BE games are in cold weather.
  20. Not sure that will help but appreciate the try. I unfortunately posted to this thread so it won't show up on the unread list.
