    Thanks for posting those. Can't believe I watched all of it. From the short time seeing him on film, looks like you've raised a son who is humble, hungry, talented and poised . Looking forward to seeing him at USF and hopefully will get a chance to meet you at some point.

    Our grandson will be at his first football game next Saturday at just over 15 months. Mom & Dad (and probably grandmom) will be in charge of diaper changing.

    Heard from some friends (don't recall if they said they read in the paper or heard from a friend) that an entertainer stopped playing at the Sun Dome because the sound was terrible. The crowd was supposedly very unhappy also. Has anyone else heard the same thing? Or experienced it? We have tix for Elton John next month and are curious. Thanks.

    This will be like a neutral field game similar to the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party. Except the fans will be interspersed instead of a dividing line of sections.

    He always sounds excited when he talks about USF. Part of his charm. Now he needs the D coordinator to protect leads in the 4th quarter. Not trying to hijack. But this is like spring training, everyone has a chance at the World Series that time of year.

But it'll definitely work for all of you guys! My USF fan building days are done; now only being done through my USF daughter and son-in-law.

    The Aces are a lot of fun. It's a beautiful ballpark. It's a shame you won't be able to make it out in September though. Just a heads up there's a big fire to the north of us so smoke has been coming into the city the past few days, it's nasty. As long as the plane can land and the casino has an air filtration system..... we should be good to go. Might put a damper on the crowds for the Hot August Nights car shows however.

    Well Mugtang, I'll be in your fair city this Wed. Because of this trip won't be making the return trip in Sept. Been to Aces games in the past (and loved it) but don't think we'll get there this year.

    Just curious. Those of you asking for better marketing from USF, what do you suggest? My take on this; no amount of advertising is going to make me a USF sports fan if I'm a fan of Miami, FSU, UF, Notre Dame, etc. The attendance at the WVU game, lo those many years ago, proves that people will come out to an "event". But that doesn't make them "fans". Was the advertising better for that game? Probably not.

    Marketing USF sports is like trying to market to a dead guy. "Come on, man, wake up". "You really need to wake up" "You're going to miss a lot of cool **** if you don't wake up". "There is a new and improved Sun Dome and men's basketball made the tourney last year". "USF soccer is really good. Made the Elite 8 last year". "Women's softball made it to the college world series". "Men's baseball was 1 game away from making the college world series". "FSU is coming to town to play USF in football". Nope, still dead.

    So doesn't it partially kill the purpose of an on campus stadium if people are tailgating elsewhere and just coming on campus to watch the game?
