  1. So you are planning on being there? Maybe we'll finally get to meet.
  2. So no extra bucks? Just something we have to do. If they re-sign with ESPN we can look forward to more of the same. It would be interesting to see if NBC, should they get the contract, tries to go head to head with ESPN on weeknights. If so, ESPN might have to throw the ACC teams out there to compete.
  3. you can come to our house and watch it lol. We are having a watch party for all the home games so there will be other people there as well. Mostly students/recent alumni but yes. Thanks. But we are going to be up in NY for a wedding so I need to get it recorded.
  4. Guess we saw what Schiano is about at the end of the Giants game. If you can't beat 'em, hurt 'em.
  5. Confirmation from an independent source. I always liked Greg.
  6. Dang I hate this. I gave up on BH knowing that BHSN was giving up on USF after this year. Didn't think it would effect so many games. Thought ESPN3 would have most of them. Will have to have our daughter record it on BH while we're away.
  7. And your evidence of bullet #1 is.... ????? I really find it hard to believe that if we had any success running the ball that Skip and Co wouldn't run the crap out of it. Tenn Chatt aside, our O line hasn't opened a lot, if any, holes. Just wait and see how this board lights up after 3 consecutive 3 and outs with us not trying a pass. To your point CousinRicky there is no hard evidence to prove they will be successful running the ball there is more proof that USF is not committed to the run. Was Nevada's OL was glaringly better than USFs from a talent perspective? Is there really a huge talent gap between the offensive lines in the Big East? I don't think so. The only glaring difference is commitment to the run. When Andre Hall was all USF had, USF ran the ball successfully. USF has more talent today at all positions, mind you there is no RB quite like Andre Hall. now to Flip's point whether it is Daniels or some other QB playing under center will help USF to disguise the run better. Right now everything is rather obvious. I guess it is a chicken or the egg thing. As for the O Lines, Nevada has an excellent O line.
  8. schiano is gone. no excuses for this loss and the way we let another lead slip away. Same defense though, not a whole new system. with our coaching experience, and a lead in the 4th, in rjs, we should have won that game. pathetic loss. Agree wholeheartedly.
  9. Did Mark Snyder's team pitch a shutout yesterday? At some point in the 2nd half they were. I'm so proud of my wife. She picked him out on the sideline of their game.
  10. Pretty much what many on here have been saying. Is that blogger also a bullspenner?

  12. I hope he was redesigning our playbook at his office on campus. But while watching that game and seeing Schiano's defense torched for 600+ yards, it baffles me how USF doesn't see the opportunities when you blitz a team. I know Holtz isn't Tom Coughlin but there are ways to do it. After 2 years you would have thought he'd figure it out. Next year before we play RU up in New Brunswick, maybe Holtz can give Coughlin a quick call.
  13. First, can we SEE this game? Is it on TV? If it is, I'll be watching the recording since we have a wedding to attend.

  15. If your job was to buy 1 piece of equipment and that failed then, yes, you would be in hot water. But if your job included buying 40 pieces of equipment and 1 failed you would probably get some slack. The AD job is much more than just the football team although it IS the most visible. Eventually, if the football program doesn't click and the AD doesn't fire the coach, then his job will be in jeopardy. Don't think 2 years plus 3 games in will be enough to fire him (AD) at this time.
  16. You watch other games and you see actual holes for RB's to run through. I think Skip would love to come out and run the ball. The problem is one of a couple of things; a) there are no holes or the RB's don't hit them if they are there or c) all of the above.
  17. I don't think many have jumped ship but it's just there are those who always need to blow off steam after a loss ... and of course then there are those who have the need to blow off steam after the each bad pass, dropped pass, missed tackle, etc, too. The advent of the Internet and message boards have spared millions of tv's, wives and pets the wrath of the armchair quarterbacks/coaches out there. Exactly. I don't ever plan on not going to games and making donations, etc. Heck, already making plans for road trips next season. Love my Bulls, win or lose. But much prefer to see them play well and win.
  18. That was the number I had in the back of my mind as well. But I'm old and suffer from CRS.
  19. Not as sure about that as you are. There is a reason they are trying to red shirt Eveld. Might want a senior to start a few games and let Asianti get some reps on a few series before turning the reins over to him.
  20. Those are the ones you got extra as a season ticket holder, right? The other question to ask if he is a $1,000 donor or grandfathered $100 donor as that has a lot to do with the priority points. I have two in 113 and six in 123. I'm a grandfathered $100 donor for the 113 tickets and got four in 236 as my extra FSU tix. I was thinking mine would be in the third level, so I'm very happy. No way was I thinking there were four open seats anywhere near me to get for the FSU game. I saw someone got seats directly behind his current tix and thought that had to be a lucky dude. We were. But then, the seats behind us aren't sold. Been empty for the 1st 2 games. Our normal seats are BB and CC. Extras are in DD, the last row before the club in 237. Guess maybe priority points helped ???
  21. For those of you old enough (and if you aren't look him up), John Wooden was arguably the best coach in any sport and didn't scream at his players.
