    All that sounds nice but, the bolded part, I don't see a difference between last season and this coming season. There will be mostly all new parts again. Another season to gel and we can win 2 conference games at the end of next season. I hope you're right but I think I'll keep the $1,200 for season tickets for another sport or donation.

    Talk about old times disease. Didn't he coach against WKU in Miami? But he didn't coach vs South Carolina in Birmingham, correct? I was at both those games and should remember this stuff.

    Need a range of Pappy's for that $10,000 - and by that I mean full bottles. I've always wanted to see a championship game but I don't see myself spending that kind of money ever for a sporting event. Exception would be USF in a championship football game.

    I wasn't sure if you were suggesting dropping the fee or not, thus the way I phrased my response. I still think the number of students at games would decrease if you asked them to pay over and above the fees tacked on to their tuition. I guess even if you got 100 to do it that would be that much extra in the coffers. But then the stands look more empty than usual. Not sure if the small financial bump would be worth it.

    If I am reading this correctly, you think if they dropped student fees for athletics and then only charged those that wanted to attend games a separate fee that our revenue would go up? If that is what you are saying I would disagree. But maybe I'm not quite getting it. Students at Michigan WANT to go to the games. And I have no idea if there are student fees there but you can get away with charging them. At USF I don't think that would work. We don't get much student interest and some of those going are probably only going because it is included with their student fees and would not pay to go.

    According to Scott, with this hiring and the recent hiring of Jeff Bromley, this means the Bulls Club is fully staffed for the first time in a long while. Let's hope this leads to more fund raising and the IPF getting under way.

    Would have been the 3rd out in the 7th but the batter reached on a wild pitch 3rd strike and got the whole thing started. We were sitting next to Collin Sullivan, who had the radar gun behind the plate last night, and he said the pitcher threw the wrong pitch and crossed up the catcher. As happens too many times in baseball, the coach left the pitcher in for one too many batters. Thought he was going to pull him when he went out that first time but had to come out again after giving up that hit. Stetson's starter was fabulous. I tend to complain about lack of timely hitting but that kid's changeup was outstanding. Probably had 6 strikeouts with that pitch.

    Wind is pretty strong today. Don't know in which direction they were kicking. If WITH the wind it's a problem. Not too worried if against.

    If you read my subsequent post you'd know I did read the story and was trying to be humorous. This thread had devolved into JK writing about FSU and FCWT while the thrust was about QF. I simply took the opportunity to to take a shot at FSU and CWT. Hate having to explain. But I want those Brad Points now so must continue.

    Apparently not. Am I supposed to read articles by JK? People on here tell me he's hot garbage. Joey has always said Hi to me and I have nothing against him. And I did read the article and was, again unsuccessfully, trying to be humorous.

    Cool city. We were there while Maria was there playing (or practicing at the time) for the National team. Tried to get in touch to see her but it never worked out.
