  1. We're going to try to get there for at least one day to show some support. Our perfect record was broken earlier this year in Gainesville but USF is 3 and 1 in events we've attended.
  2. Bobby Cox was not overly impressed with Shane the night he was there and sitting in front of us. Don't know how much faith the Brave's put in his opinion but I would think it is substantial.
  3. Nice. Must really like him. Except I hate see former Bulls on the Iggles.
  4. It's the NFL, not college. They look for a whole different type QB. Your guy is a great college QB but he may be in the same position as QF when he graduates.
  5. Just kind of funny in an odd sort of way that 2 of the 12 QBs taken in the NFL draft either were with USF (Mike White) or passed on by USF (McGough) and that neither of those guys would have led us to the kind of success we had over the past 2 years. It is all about the system in college. BTW, McGough's dad is kind of happy right now.
  6. But that is twice as many as Fort Hays State and, dare I mention, La Tech. Edit: Add Ferris State, Humboldt State, Wagner, Weber, Yale and Delaware to that list. We rock when it comes to Pro Draft Selections. Okay, and I'm just having some fun. Don't jump ugly on me.
  7. Thanks John. I'll probably give you a call at some point.
  8. Not bad bourbon, but just too much of other stuff. Went to a 6 course tasting/cocktail event at the Hard Rock last night. Was a little slow this morning.
  9. I'm not assuming anything at this point. I only know what I've seen. There will be some phone conversations for sure.
  10. Weren't last year's prices around $100? A 120% increase for tickets plus some food you may or may not want? They were doing well getting season ticket numbers up to around 2,000 I believe. This may be a step in the wrong direction. I know they are trying to get more people to join the Coaches Club and Hardwood Club. But if they are continuing to put some food out in the Hardwood Club you don't need the buffet. But I guess that is why they won't increase the ticket prices for those that join. There are some very die hard WBB fans, including us, but they need to be careful with pricing.
  11. Received this yesterday. Do you think they may get some phone calls asking for clarification? Or are my reading skills diminishing? Is it all 3 things you have to do? If I just want the buffet price added to my tickets and not donate/pay $1,350 how much is the ticket increase? Whew. Too much to process this early. Hello, Thank you for being a member of Jose Fernandez’s Women’s Basketball Coaches Club! Due in large part to the investment that you and so many other fans have made in the women’s basketball program over the past several years, we are one of the top programs in the nation. • Six consecutive seasons with 20 or more wins • Four straight NCAA tournament appearances • Selected as 1 of 16 schools to host the NCAA Women’s Basketball First & Second Round games In an effort to improve the fan experience at Women’s Basketball for the upcoming season, you will see that we are providing a pre-game buffet for all season ticket members who choose to sit in sections 101-104 of the Fifth Third Bank Club or sit courtside. This was implemented last season during the Men’s Basketball season and based on the feedback from those donors and season ticket members, it was a resounding success, and therefore, we are providing it to Women’s Basketball season ticket members as well. While the added value of a full buffet does come with an increased price of the season tickets in those sections, if you are a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Club ($600 or more for the 2018-19 season), have made the required donation to access the Fred & Kay Meyer Hardwood Club ($500 or more to the Bulls Club for the 2018-19 year), and purchased a Hardwood Club pass at $250/person ($125/person for Iron Bulls), you would be able to access the full buffet without having to pay the additional food service portion ($120) of the overall season ticket price. To ensure that you understand your options and choose the best experience for you and your friends while we cheer our Bulls next season, we will be following up with phone calls throughout renewals. And as always, please feel free to reach out to us. Renewals will begin on May 1st with a deadline of June 1st. Thank you for your continued support, and GO BULLS!
  12. Going to be tougher next year. Think we are losing 4 of our guys to graduation or turning pro. Have a ton of confidence in Steve.
  13. And you are correct in some, maybe many, cases. But there are other donors, large and small, that have no real ties to USF. I know at least 4 Iron Bulls, including ourselves, in that situation. It doesn't hurt to be nice to people. Continuity
  14. Thanks to all for the notes. As for men's golf. They won the tournament for the 4th year in a row I believe and Claudio won individual honors. Congrats to CSB and all the players.
  15. Not sure they would put forth the same effort/budget on USF v Elon.
  16. Boy I wish I could comment on this thread. Been reading it on and off since Thur.
  17. I hate watching USF football live on TV. As much as I stress at the stadium, I usually have a few adult beverages in me to take the edge off - at least until halftime. I don't usually drink much at home (no, really) and stress over every play, call and non call. I have taken to having one or two during the game but I'm playing catch up. Back to the topic, if USF wins and I can watch a replay later I'll be good. Unless you can join just for the months you would choose, I don't see myself spending more on our cable/internet bill than we are - year round.
  18. So do these rankings put us ahead of South Carolina and Kingston?
  19. Oh man, I would die to see Feherty doing college football. I know he wouldn't but it would be priceless.
