    In a secret USF med school experiment, we attach both their heads to one young coach's body. If we can keep them from head butting and stink eyeing each other to death and keep the choking and racist emails to a minimum, we might have something.

    The USF debacle was the only blemish on an otherwise outstanding opening week of college football for me. I probably could have stopped after the North Carolina games in my back yard and been satisfied. NC State vs. ECU something but that UNC vs. App State game was insane.

    USF 38 - 10 Battie Weaver 397 yards Hopefully no rain delay. That would give Howard a distinct advantage.

    Awesome point. But those upper deck seats will gain in value when the campus is under water.

    I can empathize. Last year I battled through heart and hypertension issues the whole season. That first game against NC State, which I pulled myself out of the convalescent bed to attend, did not help. At least this was not as bad as that one. Anyhow, take care of yourself first and get better soon.

    I hope I am dead wrong but that has been my thoughts all along for this team. I just didn't see what had occurred that was going to erase everything I knew about them.

    Yes. That sucking sound doesn't just come from the field. On the flip side, after being a long-time donor and active booster, the last time I was in town for a game with club tickets, I was told I wasn't allowed in the lounge because I was no longer a season ticket holder.

    One loss does not a Bulls' season make. Usually, it is a lot of losses strung together.

    I don't really get the OCS lust, particularly given our situation and the current state of college football. But then I understand everyone has their own priorities. After years of pouring time, work and money into supporting the program this is where I drew my personal line in the sand. If they truly find a way to integrate it into the campus and the community at large as a multi-purpose facility I guess it will be OK. If folks are looking at this as the magic bullet for success, I think they will be sorely disappointed.

    I have loved the Bulls for 50 years, pledging my support time and treasure to the University through three careers, three marriages and a whole lot of life changes. For the most part, my love has been unrequited (and I don't mean just in wins and losses). I will always carry a torch for USF but now have given myself permission to be a little more selfish and care a little less. I haven't really missed the severity of the pain.

    I asked random people outside the stadium as we were walking out during the 2nd qtr if they thought this team is worth a $300 million investment. Not one thought so. Maybe a similar poll after a big 10 point win next will have different result. At this point USF's program should be looking for organ donors.

    Had everything pegged but just how many the Mormons would ring up on us.

    Didn't blame last year on Timmy but certainly didn't blame tonight on Bohanon. He certainly had no help.

    Was exciting right to the end. But I think Utah should fire its AD as well.
