  1. Andrew Goodrich was one of the most dedicated and decent folks I worked with at USF Athletics Department. Congratulations and best of luck to him. https://gardner-webb.edu/news/andrew-goodrich-is-new-vice-president-director-of-athletics/
  2. I am familiar with populist oratory. Wasn't debating. Just wanted to ensure my meaning was not twisted or misconstrued.
  3. No. The only point I meant to make by my comment were that I would take someone who cares over someone who didn't give from day one (which CCS did not at USF), but that CJS now has to get some wins to back it up. Caring without performance is a hollow virtue.
  4. Saban's gonna get beat this week in Rocky Top. From your fingertips to God's eyes. I'm rooting for Smazza's wager to hit.
  5. Looking at the stats of Ws and Ls and points for and against after five games last year and this year I see a pretty strong resemblance.
  6. Cut them off, too. I've learned the college greed and delusions of grandeur are rampant at all levels.
  7. And I nearly donated and bought tix again this year. Maybe we can get that 4th win before OCS grand opening. One can dream...
  8. Maybe Coach Prime? I'm just not sure if CJS is SWAC.
  9. Maybe we can get the Panthers to fly him in and pay part of his salary. Or I can pick him up in Charlotte on my drive down from Hickory.
  10. Last week for current STM's, so it should be another week or so for the public. Are road games tix handled only through the individual other schools?
  11. I saw from The Jim's Twitter that he was at Ray Jay today. Maybe he can just stay in the seats and then swoop down to save the day at homecoming.
  12. this is so true Never thought I would envy UConn's win streak this year. I expected 3 wins. Now that seems wildly optimistic.
  13. It is hard to get 4 wins in 3 years. Takes a certain kind of talent. If we try to bring him back, he may go into witness protection.
  14. But USF would still find a way to lose that. Maybe a 0-0 overtime tie? For us, the Green Wave might as well be the Crimson Tide when Nick is pissed.
  15. I would take him over CJS all day every day. Talk about your Hobson's choice.
  16. In follow-up to my post above, I think as a USF/FSU grad and Rays fan, yesterday was a great day to take a hiatus from Saturday sports TV.
  17. Perhaps, though I think he has a lot more to work with and his play calling and game management, particularly at the end of games, has been a head scratcher to be kind. Last night's last offensive play was completely fubar.
  18. That Tulane handling of ECU doesn't give me warm fuzzies about next week. Do you know what they call a team that loses its games in close scores?
  19. I don't claim to be any football guru but sometimes I don't get decisions which seem so obviously wrong in the situation. And as a USF/FSU grad I get the double dose of Scott and Norvell to brighten my college football Saturdays.
