  1. So with the in person B12 interviews coming up, do you think USF brings in some star power like Tony Dungy? I know he doesn't have very much affiliation with the school, however he was there for CWT's interview. If you were USF, and had 4 people to present, who would make your list?
  2. I thought USF announced on Twitter that it had 3,500+ new season tickets? Or does this mean about 500 people didn't renew?
  3. http://www.thedailystampede.com/2016/6/11/11908228/only-alex-mut-days-until-usf-football-season Read the comparison to Tony Hibbert MUT SCORES WE RIOT who wants to make the banner?
  4. There were nine threads ahead of this one. Unacceptable. Bump.
  5. On one hand I'm a little upset that you couldn't find a more relevant "threat" than the realignment thread for a Tramel Ivy post. ( Like maybe the Tramel Ivy thread, the football training camp thread, or the football roster changes thread) BUT on the other hand I'm fricken STOCKED that this added at least one page to our flagship thread. #1000threadislife P.S. this was my lazy way of adding to this tread.
  6. I feel like this is an appropriate time to re-post this from 2011. USF- Hawaii!!!!!
  7. So close. I've been playing soccer for almost a quarter century and PKs are never a good way to settle a game. I feel horrible for blount but at the same time you should always get your shot on frame.
  8. Just out of curiosity. What was the last USF game smazza went to?
  9. Haven't we beaten the spread 2 weeks in a row now? Who says we can't again? I plan on betting a dollar.
  10. I dunno about that. #29 and #30 doesn't really show him in a great light if founded. # 29-O’Leary stated, “if we can find one [an African-American coach], hire one,†but that “all those coons are in the NFL. It’s [the NFL] one big ‘Ru-Ru’ tribe.†#30 -While in O’Leary’s office the following week, O’Leary stated to FERRARO that he had spoken with a former assistant, who is now a head coach in the NFL, and that he (O’Leary) had advised his former assistant t hat, while at the upcoming NFL combine in Indianapolis, to “check the [African - American] players to make sure that their gums are blue, because they are bigger, faster and stronger than [African -American] players with red gums.â€
  11. https://ct.yimg.com/mr/uploads/908/1598293.pdf Here is the offical claim
  12. Joey Knight @TBTimes_Bulls Taggart said they've had plans to use Quinton Flowers the first two games but "we didn't get to it." #USF Guess that answers the redshirt question.
  13. Did notice that UCLA is ranked 4th in growth though....... maybe we should get someone from there to help get students to games.....oh wait....
  14. ^^^^This. I don't think people are realizing how bad of a game Mike White had @ about 34% efficiency. If he can trend to his last year number which was close to 53%, then we have a solid chance at winning. Also, I'm sure if he doesn't get his act together midway through the 2nd quarter, Bench will come in. Bench did have a stellar sping game.
  15. Offical USF Release: TAMPA, SEPT. 2, 2014 – The University of South Florida football program will continue its trend of strong non-conference scheduling as USF Director of Athletics Mark Harlan announced a home-and-home series with Syracuse University beginning next season. The Bulls' renewed series with the Orange, a BIG EAST Conference foe from 2005-12, will mark the fourth ACC team scheduled to visit Raymond James Stadium since 2013 when they visit Tampa on Oct. 10, 2015. The Bulls will return the trip the following season when USF visits the Carrier Dome on Sept. 17, 2016. “We are very excited to renew a home-and-home series with a program with the tradition and history of Syracuse,†Harlan said. “We are committed to playing a very competitive non-conference schedule against some of the top programs in the country and it is exciting to be able to bring these programs to Tampa and continue our tradition of facing top level opponents in front of our Bulls fans in Raymond James Stadium.†USF will face one ACC team this season in Raymond James when N.C. State visits on Sept. 13. The Bulls also play home-and-home series with Florida State (2015 & 2016) on future schedules and hosted Miami (Fla.) last season. USF is also playing eight games vs. Big Ten opponents over six seasons (2013-18), including two this year when Maryland visits (Sept. 6) and the Bulls travel to Wisconsin (Sept. 27). The Bulls now have 13 games scheduled vs. “Big Five†opponents between 2013-18, including upcoming home-and-home series vs. Illinois (2017 & 2018), Maryland (2014 & 2015) and Wisconsin (2014 & 2017). The 2014 game will mark the ninth meeting between USF and Syracuse, which were both members of the BIG EAST from 2005-2012, but the first with Syracuse as a member of the AAC. The Bulls posted a 6-2 mark vs. Syracuse in the eight previous meetings as members of the BIG EAST. USF won the first five meetings between the programs, however the Orange claimed two of the last three, including a thrilling 37-36 victory in Raymond James in the last meeting in 2012. The Bulls currently have a 6-6 record vs. ACC opponents. USF posted a 36-31 victory over Western Carolina in the season opener last Saturday behind a USF and American Athletic Conference record 275 yards rushing from freshman Marlon Mack (Sarasota). Mack also tied a USF record with four rushing touchdowns and set a USF mark with 280 all-purpose yards. The Bulls face Big Ten foe Maryland this Saturday in a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Raymond James Stadium. That game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network and can be heard live on the USF/IMG Radio Network (98.7 FM/1010 AM in Tampa). Radio coverage of all USF sporting events will be streamed free on GoUSFBulls.com this season.
  16. From espn- "Vanderbilt introduced new uniforms that almost resulted in a loss of timeouts. The Commodores had their team slogan, "Anchor Down" written on the back of their jerseys, where a player's name usually appears. Early in the second quarter, officials said the presence of the slogan made the jerseys impermissible and that Vanderbilt would be charged a timeout each quarter they were worn. Later that quarter, the officials said Vanderbilt wouldn't be penalized at all. Vanderbilt athletic department spokesman Larry Leathers said the jerseys were approved by the Southeastern Conference."
  17. That was a lazy article. So many things wrong with it. Including the poll at the end that just has 12 teams in it? Why 12, why not all 17? and the comment under UCLA says "These alternates are the first grey uniforms in school history."....I'm pretty sure the picture is of an all BLUE uniform.
