    The weirdest thing to me was that we obliterated Syracuse, Cincy, and Temple by an average score of 51-24 last year but we're going to lose to all 3 this year despite returning, and building on, almost our entire team?

    That was my senior year at USF -- what a send-off. Went to the Auburn game and the Sun Bowl -- they felt so different. I was scared but hopeful about the Auburn game - left the stadium feeling like I could take on the world. After the Sun Bowl, I felt tired from the roller coaster of a season. Didn't even make it to midnight (it was New Years Eve), went to bed early.

    Great point. S&C arguable underrated by the average fan. We've got a great program -- loved that coach Gortmaker was recognized for his work.

    That FIU game was one of the worst wins I can remember. I was hosting recruits in the south end zone and more than a few parents were telling their sons "Maybe we should start looking at FIU."

    You must have forgotten that UCF has the number 1 video game school in the nation. How is a medical school, top 10 in US patents, and "emerging preeminence" supposed to compete with that?

    I thought that odd, too. It was one of the top wins of all time at that point.

    I interpreted the "Don't understand, never will" as not understanding the motives/hate of the attack. If it was meant as some sort of dig towards the city or negativity towards those affected by the attack, I'd think we'd have seen an outrage on national media already.

    It's crazy. When I was accepted in 2004 I was pretty high up in terms of incoming freshmen. I got accepted within 3 days and got a book scholarship I didn't even apply for. Now I'd be about average. The campus and academics have made great strides. Can't wait for athletics to catch up.

    Two USF QBs in the Top-25 QBs of the draft? What other schools have two in the Top-25? None? Oh, OK, then.

    Agreed. It's hard for me to say best in the conference because I don't follow the other schools feeds but I'll go ahead and say it anyways.

    #1 Videogame school? Pft. I used to beat UCF in NCAA '13 all the time. How about this? USF is a Top 10 Cool School AND we have the top mascot, to boot. Checkmate, Knights.

    I don't blame you. I'm in the same camp. Until I see consistency and a return to giant killer status, USF has beaten me down enough that enough that im going to continue to expect the worst and hope to be surprised. Losing Hope and Allen and some experience on the line, and a scary bad start to last season leaves me nervous for this one.
