  1. If he scrambles, I hope he respects the UCF defense more than he did Tulsa. Can’t have ANY turnovers.
  2. Me too. It will be interesting to see how the media reacts.
  3. It’s also the 250th game for the Bulls in case you didn’t know. Louk teeeted that out a few minutes ago.
  4. The biggest game we’ve ever played will be the last game we play this season.
  5. The ONLY thing I would tell people to consider is if you want to get home fast after the game, it can be a little frustrating sitting on the bus waiting for everyone to show up so it can leave the stadium and take you back to your car. If it's a continuous shuttle system, then it won't be as bad, but if it's a "you got this bus number there and you need to get on that bus number on the way back," you will have to wait. Years ago, we did a tailgate/transportation for the UCF game and I remember sitting there thinking how far down I4 I'd already be... But if you're not in a hurry, by all means do it. I try to do all the tailgates put on by USF for away games and you can't beat the atmosphere if you're a smaller group that doesn't want to bring all the tailgating equipment on the road.
  6. What What's really sad is, with it being a Thursday night game, even if you convinced the entire tailgating population in all the parking lots to get inside the stadium by 7:00, it will still look pathetic.
  7. 11 penalties for 100 yards. We are ranked 130th. https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/penalties-per-game
  8. What on earth would either of those teams have to say at this point?!!
  9. Did any of you happen to watch the QF piece on GameDay and notice the aerial shot of RayJay? I'm assuming it was taken either this morning or in the last few days and it shows a pattern of stars and stripes across the student section. I can't tell if they are seat covers or placards but it looks pretty cool. Maybe someone who still has it on can rewind it and post a screen shot of it. It was right at the beginning.
  10. Electrical engineering ‘92. And happened to be on campus yesterday as well with my son as he met with an advisor before he starts going there in the spring. So many buildings it’s hard to find a place to throw a frisbee anymore!
  11. Yep - tailgating has to take the 30-minute bullet for this move. My sleep pattern will be affected only if we find a way to lose.
  12. Maybe that’s why it only mentions jerseys in the post.
  13. We would have to come up with an away version of those. But I think it's clear CCS would not be in favor of that. With his consistency on uniforms so far and his comments the other day about his guys "chirping" as a reason for losing focus, he probably thinks splashy uniforms are just another form of chirping. If we go with the camos this Saturday, I'm thinking his desire to keep the uniforms the same was overruled. It's for the armed services for cryin' out loud.
  14. I'm going to say the 2010 home game against Syracuse if you mean "old-gold" helmets with green jersey and pants. The jerseys have always been tweaked a bit almost every year - even during the old-gold helmet days. http://www.gousfbulls.com/news/2010/10/9/205009076.aspx
  15. So on this one, is it possible that if WVU wins, both they and OK State are ranked above us? Given the discussion about 1-loss teams in the P5 being ranked above the undefeated G5 teams (and 2-loss teams being ranked above 1-loss Memphis), I'm thinking we get comfortable letting OK State stay above us and hope WVU gets their third loss and are no longer a threat. I know it would surprise a lot of folks to see a 2-loss team ranked above us when we are undefeated, but it's happened before and this is the year where things are making it easier (SOS) for the pollsters to be able to vote their p5 bias. Just a sample of past rankings: In 2002, the final AP poll had a 1-loss Boise St team below a 4-loss Auburn team. 2005 1-loss TCU behind a 3-loss Georgia team. 1999 Undefeated Marshal team behind a 3-loss Tennessee team. Thoughts?
  16. Tampa's on the shore of Tampa Bay - not the Gulf of Mexico. But I guess we do have the St. Pete campus.
  17. The other good thing is that so many people left, that getting out of the parking lots after the game was a breeze and no traffic back to Chicago.
  18. It was very reminiscent of Ben Moffit's pick six in 2007 (2:05 mark).
