Wow. A couple of things came to mind. 1). I am also feeling thankful. Classless trash talk. 2). Jealous. I'd love to see our stands packed full of that much green and gold (ok, yellow..but either way) someday again.

I agree that the past is not a factor at all in whether or not we win this game or by how much--this is definitely sound logic. But that doesn't mean that the average better bets based on sound logic. Many betters go on past trends and sometimes even feelings. I don't know much about setting odds, but I think the oddsmakers consider that there are potential betters out there who believe that the past is a factor. I am basing that on all the stupid stats we hear all the time like "X team has never won a game where it was under 40 degrees at kickoff," or "X team has never won on the road at Y."

Maybe because USF hasn't won a road game in over 3 years, and the oddsmakers aren't sure if we've "learned how to win" yet. I think with this coaching staff, our guys will not be distracted and come out ready to play. I feel good about this game. I think when we win a road game and put 2 wins back-to-back, the oddsmakers may start favoring us a bit more. That's my guess anyway. Next play!

Well, he was right when he said something to the affect that those who came out got to see a great game. It was definitely the best game I have been to in a long time. Alabama was great, too, but we lost. The comeback win is against Rice was worth everything, and that's what we have been waiting to see for years now. If you missed the game, you missed out.

I have a problem understanding this, too. There must be something I am not aware of. I would think that representing at your school's tailgates and games would be a priority.

I was surprised and saddened by the turnout. Even the student turnout looked weak. Hopefully the win (and some road wins) will get some of the fans back. Also, the fact that there are 000s of people up in that club lounge and not in the stands doesn't help the appearance.

People missed out. This was big. We got the win. Now there will be more to follow!

Great Fing feeling!!

We still want the “college football experience”. Domes and roofs and crap like that…hmm sounds like some of us want to play in a pro stadium forever.

National relevancy would be great, but it all starts with beating somebody. Anybody. And having more home fans in the stands today will help us do that. I know the average person doesn’t care about Rice. I get that, but we don’t climb out of this hole until we are beating teams like Rice easily and routinely. I hope we get a crowd to come out and cheer these guys to their first FBS win in a very long time.

Hopefully all those students will be back this week. 13th man will be a big help on defense tomorrow.

After 3 games. Hoping TX Southern helped them pad their numbers while ours are more conservative from having played Alabama. None of it really matters. #BEATRICE

I don't let it bother me anymore. I used to. I think of the extra club premium as a donation now. With the Bucs, the club section is closed off and exclusive, so the ushers do not need to check. With the USF setup, since the club can be accessed by people (like myself) who don't actually SIT in club seats, the ushers would theoretically have to check everyone who entered (they used to do this back in the days of paper tickets). I really don't blame them for not doing it...nobody wants to get in a confrontation with some irate drunk who might not want to hear the news about not being permitted inside--they probably don't get paid enough for that hassle. Also, if they did stop everyone, there would be a queue of people standing in the aisle blocking people from seeing the game. I think now that we are only at RayJay for basically 2 1/2 more seasons, it probably doesn't matter much anymore. Go Bulls! #Beatrice!

Even if he didn't play us that way, he still played us when he took Weaver and Horn. Imagine if those guys were still on the roster.

Interesting that USF vs. Rice is the only conference game in the AAC this week. Still early (week 4) I suppose.

I think some first timers caught the bug. Students, too. It was electric. Many will be back next week. Deliver a win, and we will have new fans…deliver a loss, and they probably don’t come back out for the next one.

I think all of Bulls Nation is waiting for Saturday to find out if we have turned a corner or if we have the same old song and dance this season. For some reason, I’m confident. I think they will come out ready to play.

Next weeks showing will tell us if we are on the right track. Need to beat them with a vengeance. Don’t come out flat.

This game is huge. Can’t come out and lay an egg next week. Must win game!

Hell yeah. Those were the days. I apologize for ever being disappointed in our team back then.
