    Just like the OCS, the baseball stadium is on the Campus Master Plan, with the rest of new upgraded athletic facilities. BUT, the upgraded facilities, including the baseball stadium, are REALLY going to happen! The OCS doesnt have any plans yet.

    lol.... you guys are great It's true... there are geeks everywhere... and a lot in bands. I can point to about 3/4ths of the bands here at USF and say they are. None the less, littledrummer is right... a promise was broken. This isnt the first time The Arts at USF have been promised something, which was never to be delivered. Example: the new music buildings promised over 40 years ago. Now they are unfit to even walk into. Who is to say that wont happen to our uniforms too? Everyone on this board complains about the football teams uniforms, but at least they have right logo on them!

    Halftime is what halftime is.... don't make a big deal out of it... but at the same time don't reduce it to a crazy thing like football at halftime in a band festival. The band does the halftime show to entertain everyone during halftime. Duh. Nothing less. Obviously, we wont please everyone. Not everyone can have "wordrobe malfunctions" during halftime performances. Just remember, its obvious that the band presents an image of the university. Old logos and all. We cant move on until we do what is needed.

    Bottom line: We look more like the University of San Fransiscos band that South Florida's http://usfdons.cstv.com/ I think the University of South Florida should "take back" the Marching Band....

    Note: It just looks bad for 250 or so of our universities "ambassadors" to be walking around in retro USF. Remember, the nation will see our program wearing old uniforms AGAIN on ESPN.

    Student Government (myself) is only involved right now due to "broken promises" by the school's administration. SG isnt funding it. SG really can't fund it. About $113,500 in all for the uniforms... 300 need to be ordered. Our budget is paid for by several sources (ie: foundation, provost/presidents offices, athletics, school of music, etc) The University President PROMISED us we would have new uniforms in Fall 2006 though. Loans were supposed to be taken out and paid back at $25,000 a yeat for 5 years

    You see, we can't just throw patches on the uniforms, that would be a slap in the face. Not to mention it would look really ******.

    Why can't we advertise on campus? Does anyone ever remember that this athletic program is a COLLEGE program? We never get students to go, and we never try to get them to go! This needs to change

    Yea, we never got Sunshine in the dorms, my friend flips out still becuase he can't get it in Kosove. FYI: Most off campus apts. dont have sunshine at all.... keep that in mind! IT SUCKS!

    BIG feat! Hands down, Miss. Mary Dooley (our Office Administrator and Field/Winter guards director) is the bomb! Without her... NOTHING The Herd does would get done! 3rd in the nation! USF making it big time. Big props to them all!
