Tools for Schools JUNE 16 - JULY 14, 2006 June 2006 Dear Faculty and Staff, Volunteer USF, the community service center at the University of South Florida, is sponsoring the annual Tools for Schools supply drive. This is the third year of the drive, which was created by the Office of Community Relations to collect supplies for children in the University Area. We are seeking to help 700 children this year by providing a bag with supplies including pencils, paper, crayons, and glue. We will be collecting school supplies from June 16-July 14, 2006 at the locations below. Please help by donating school supplies for local children to start the school year right! It's true, we are the "Athletic Bands." And the red headed step child we are, neither wants to pay for us!

Athletic teams already came... went... came again... The already have had at least three different changes... three years... the band... NONE... in a decade... I'm still surprised that everyone thinks the band doesnt matter... why don't we just save the time and money... kick the arts off campus and disband the band... after all, we cant support them anyway

uniform issues... we need to win some darn games! Then I assume after the sports teams dig there heads out of the sand, the band might get some uniforms that fit, arnt worn out, and look like USF. Everyone's BS about "go retro" for the band... and you are worrying about if its gold or white on the athletics jersey? lord

No choice but to agree with Bulliever's reasoning. We need the fan base to grow... thats including season ticket holders for the $$$, and the students for the atmosphere and filling the seats. Once the program gets the shock they need, we will go big time, and we wont look back. We had a little one last year, with UofL, but it will take an "no doubt about it" win over a big time team to say we are now big time. Not to mention not getting beat up at the end... we need to survive the end of the season! Condition the boys CJL!

yeah yeah yeah.... UCFer.... you should have seen it a year ago! I will be trying to get some graphic and code help this summer, kinda like the 4 to 5 people that UCF has working on the UCF band site!!!!!!!!!! I am but one. Thanks Nate for the backing, but he is right. It still needs a polishing, and I hope I can provide that this summer. It is a work in progress. Anyway... enough of that. Where are my 5 $27,000 donors???
