Halftime announcements on ESPN says Scott Frost will meet with Florida. Hate to be a farm school for P5 coaches. However, Aresco needs to use this as an argument to put the AAC as a P6 conference. How many coaches have we lost in the last couple of years that came from this conference and went on to P5 schools. You think this would make a good argument.

I am not up on everything but after reading a lot of responses regarding the game experience yesterday, it seems like the OCS is the missing puzzle piece for a great game day experience. If USF is willing to erect a 40m IPF why not sink that into the OCS & build the basic with room for expansion? I bet the donations would come in. I am not rich & on a fixed income but would give what I could. Then just build the IPF as just a practice field without all the other bells & whistles. As time goes on then expand that amenity. Then both areas of concern are addressed. I would be interested in what others think on this.

If all these rumors are true then get him out now before we end up with another bare cupboard like Holtz put us in. It sure must have been hell playing under a coach that obviously didn’t want to be here.

Q thanks for the memories!!! You will be a success wherever you go. You are a great Dad & who knows maybe someday the young upstarts will call you coach. You laid it all out there today & your heart showed how much you wanted this win. If I could magically change the outcome I would.

Did I miss something? I didn’t see Sanchez in the game. Then I saw something about our leading tackler being benched? When did this happen & if so why? Thanks!

This loss is a bitter pill to swallow. Hate the **** ref’s & special teams cost us points. I feel bad for our seniors who were not given the chance they deserved b/c of the new regime. They battled their hearts out.

Strange this thread would come up. Best friend in Kentucky called yesterday & said there is talk in Lexington that Strong was on the short list for the UF job. Thought he was joking but he was serious. Wonder where that information was coming from. I admit he is not the coach I expected & has not proved one darn thing except his love for the word “execution “!

The player’s mindset is different in a rivalry. This game will be flat out grit & when our Bulls come out of that shute the red in their eyes will be blazing!!!! We have something to prove!!!! Hopefully this game will be our redemption.

I remember a previous post on Gilbert. All of his bio seem to be a shining star when it came to running a spread offense. At least that is what I recollect. If that is the case then there has got to be another hand in the till stopping Gilbert from running the offense he does best and that was the spread. To me all fingers point to CCS. He is the ultimate say so in the playcalling. I believe we had the same issue with CWT not showing up at offensive meetings and then calling plays that were not even practiced. Are we seeing the same thing? I admit I thought we were getting Charlie Strong from Louisville. I like everyone else have had season tickets for 16 years and this to me has been the most bitter pill to swallow. I know a team can be beaten any given day at any given time. But, to take a team with this kind of talent and watch the type of play they are putting out is disgusting. I don’t know what’s going to happen next week at UCF. I believe in miracles and I will support the team but at this point the common denominator in this whole mess is CCS. I find myself hoping he does leave. Last year we saw a team play with “swagger“ and had a winning attitude. This year just watching them coming out of the tunnel and their lack luster attitude is trickling from the head on down. Enough of my rant.

That was not targeting!!!! I hope CCS is in the process of having that overturned. Can someone on here stay on top of this to keep us informed. While CCS is at it they can also add Q’s TD. ( I could only wish.) That ball definitely broke the plain before his knee went down. Those Ref’s stunk! We better have the best of the best for UCF game because it means war when we get a hold of them! I can only hope UCF is so worn out b/c of no break & hopefully Temple will pound them. Temple has started to improve since we played them.

USF can beat UCF!!!! They did not impress me. Temple can get their hands on them. When the kid from UCF held up the sign for the Peach Bowl, I said UCF has cursed themselves.

I think our “D” can handle UCF. SMU is putting up one heck of a fight.

Sheriff, you have only proved what has been said to me by others. So it is CCS! Maybe just maybe, Gilbert will go rogue & run the spread anyhow. What have we got to loose?

It’s not so much the team as coaching & play calling. I would love to help Gilbert pack.

I always thought Tice to be the better runner. I am just so disgusted with having to watch plain vanilla because of a stubborn coach that won’t read the writing on the wall. I hope it doesn’t take 2 years of agony again till CCS gets it. Remembering when CCS coached Louisville didn’t he run a different offense then? CCS seemed to have so much fire back then. He’s not the same coach we saw back in the day.
