IMHO The fans around me seem to be complaining as well as I was regarding the defenders giving the receivers too much room. When the receiver caught the balll they got more yards by the time our defender got to them and tackled them. Also the short sideline passes with a good quarterback seemed to be a problem on our defense as well. I understand with a fast scoring offense that it can be very taxing on the defense with little to no time to rest. There needs to be better management for the offense regarding clock management. They need to improve their TOP. This would give our defense more time to rest.
Navy will beat Temple! Unless.....ECU throws us a life preserver & beats Temple. The thought of playing Navy for the championship gives me the shivers.
I of course hope to see an 11-2 season but Memphis is no cakewalk. We need a complete team meaning both offense & defense. I don't see that with our defense this year. This is frustrating but at least we have come a long way from the losing seasons we were suffering through.
They have completely exposed us. No defense, Odds are QF has a hamstring pull. Law of averages when your QB is running the ball too much is injury. Saw it with Grothe & if correct also BJ. Looks like Kean will see some playing time.
