  1. As soon as I saw that hit, it reminded me of the Boom at our first game against FSU. Was it Young that came up from safety to knock out the running back?
  2. We have to earn it. Yes, it is harder being G5, but we have not wowed the writers and voters. Heck, we haven't even wowed most of this board. Steady achievement of goals. Conference championship. Big name upsets. It's not going to happen because someone is willing to take a risk in their vote on us. It will happen when it is just too ridiculous to not rank us.
  3. I think you had a premature ejection. It's OK, it happens sometimes with young folks.
  4. The clash of the quarterbacks when we play UCiF this year reminds me of the Grothe vs. Pat White contests of ten years ago.
  5. Watched the Temple game. That RB, Wright, stops and starts, cuts, and waits for his blocks like I have never seen. They RB by committee and if we stop the run, we have this won. If not, it will be a game.
  6. Certainly troubling, but he is not guilty until proven guilty. I'm going to hold off judgment until then. That's what I want other schools to do when one of our own gets charged with something. No university needs this, though.
  7. FSU only has room for an FCS team? Don't they get to pick an FBS team if they wish? That would be my preferred team to schedule
  8. I was thinking this also (although he was a good guy). A lot of the posters here didn't see the games of ten to fifteen years ago. I remember yelling to the opposing team, "Hey, use our kicker!".
  9. I thought the same thing. I expected a sweep or reverse with him but the edges must not have been available.
  10. I would have these guys running until they puke. Maybe the penalties would decrease
  11. I think we need the drama. Can't just win outright - need to comeback. Not good on old hearts!
  12. I remember the kicking game before Bonani. This is starting to look like those years.
  13. It promotes accountability. Taking money earmarked for students and building with it is to violate the funding priorities in the budget. I worked in government and always hated how we needed to line item even the smallest things in the budget (since I figured it was just one pot of money anyway) but came to realize that it was about accountability to the taxpayers and using the money only for which it was approved.
  14. Duh...must be the medicine! Thanks for the catch and please use the second one.
