  1. Yeah, I was sure the game would include plenty of quick slants to Wilcox and tunnel screens to Ford because BB wouldn't have time for his progression. I sure can't make a living out of this.
  2. Now, let's go back and read our posts from last night without the alcohol Since I only had two beers I didn't have to use my keyboard breathalyzer!
  3. Ok. This crap storm is over for tonight. I suggest we focus on the real cat 4 storm aiming at Florida. 140 mph right now. Good night. Stay safe.
  4. I could swear Bell was telling him about an open reciever that BB didn't see. Probably no time to go through his progression.
  5. When you hit your receivers in the hands and they drop it don't think that it is a system's fault.
  6. Let's not **** the whole year because of the first half of the first game. Penalties and turnovers, as usual, are killing us. There's potential on the offense and they will get better as we go on. The defense has me worried.
  7. Good thing we didn't **** the bed when we fired our guy. I guess we are just smarter. We ARE preeminent, you know.
  8. in deference to our sensitive, SJW members, I offer the following. The persons in this picture are either dead or 130 years old. I don't think that they will mind.
  9. Good Lord! The play would be over by then. Maybe they could just announce the players who didn't play elsewhere.
  10. Have a great day and use that sunblock, young man! Hoping for a great game, no asterisks, and no injuries. It was a pleasure having you visit and you represented your school well. Have fun and be safe!
  11. Thank God the offseason is over! We can stop arguing over stupid non-football stuff and start arguing over stupid football stuff.
  12. That pic just became my computer background and I am getting a Yuenglings right now. Moderation, My ass. This is why you keep your fat clothes! Party on, Brad!
  13. I'd love it but I'm not driving to Tampa for it. I used to go to the Lakeland location when I worked close to it. It was sad that it closed due to fire. Biggest, best chef's salad I've seen.
  14. Good strategy. I, like others here, used to get so buzzed and loud that my wife would go out shopping. But since the beginning of last season, I've lost fifty pounds by slowing down on the beer. I'm not sure I would like to go back to my enhanced body mass. I hate moderation. I find the whole concept to be far too constraining.
  15. I saw them at Lakeland Civic Center in '82. All of their recorded concerts can be found online at https://archive.org/details/GratefulDead. You can probably find your show there. OK, back to football.
  16. If that's Toxic Masculinity then I'm poisoned through and through. Go Bulls! I want to see every opposing player's lunch money laid at Rocky's feet. Time to put your game face on:
  17. People have offered many "key" aspects to this game but I'm going for a low tech ingredient. Right from the article, " USF's upset bid was stymied by an 11-4 disparity in penalties and key turnovers that turned momentum." Fundamentals. Without them, we don't have to worry about DBs on an island or LB play. It will be impossible to win if we do our usual false starts, motion, illegal formations, too many people lined up off the line, etc.
  18. I'm not proud of the fact that my happiness is largely in the hands of nineteen and twenty year old kids this time of year. But, it is.
