Chop blocking is perfectly legal in college football, see the Georgia Tech game and anytime we play Navy. Not doing what you can to win the game with in the confines of the rules you are playing isn’t class it’s stupid. If last week Oliver played Navy and he received a perfectly legal chop block that isn’t in his best interest to continue and then sees we are now chop blocking he may skip our game too and wait to face blocks more in line with what he will face in the pros. I do not see why striking fear in the hearts of the opposition would be seen as a bad thing, there are no Mr congeniality trophies being handed out and we should do whatever is allowed to us to win the games.
