  1. Oh no I only like playing the every team’s best every week even if it comes at the cost of wins.
  2. We are Charlie Brown and the committee is Lucy, we may get close and we may think there is a chance but what can always be certain is inevitably the ball will always be moved before we can ever get to it.
  3. Yes I suppose there are other more glaring reasons to choose a school. I just find it interestingly inconsistent for the NCAA but I guess tragedy tends to evoke more emotional responses that can go against typical procedure.
  4. It’s just an interesting market differentiator for the money schools and the NCAA tries to avoid those for student athletes, at FSU you can get over $107k at USF not so much.
  5. You have to be P5 that’s the only known requirement.
  6. Sorry yes I am referring to the perfectly legal blocking style employed by other teams with lesser lines that is hated by anyone that faces it and is responsible for Oliver’s knee bruise last week. Odds are he would not like to face this blocking style ( no defender does) and since our line play is substandard I wouldn’t mind seeing it roll out this week. Thanks for the heads up on my misspoken word as I do not want anyone to think I was advocating cheating unless I knew it would help us and we would get away with it.
  7. Chop blocking is perfectly legal in college football, see the Georgia Tech game and anytime we play Navy. Not doing what you can to win the game with in the confines of the rules you are playing isn’t class it’s stupid. If last week Oliver played Navy and he received a perfectly legal chop block that isn’t in his best interest to continue and then sees we are now chop blocking he may skip our game too and wait to face blocks more in line with what he will face in the pros. I do not see why striking fear in the hearts of the opposition would be seen as a bad thing, there are no Mr congeniality trophies being handed out and we should do whatever is allowed to us to win the games.
  8. That’s the reason I’m surprised the NCAA allows for this. USF would never be able to raise the money that FSU would so it becomes clear to a recruit come to FSU and if anything happens to you at all more money will be raised for you than you will ever need go to USF and if anything happens we may raise enough to pay your families bills for a month.
  9. Thank G-d!! Sometimes the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I’m glad this won’t be one of those times.
  10. If we gave to this would it not be an NCAA violation? Has this gone thru the compliance office?
  11. We must have been neighbors, sometimes we were lucky enough that was our day to have shoes for the walk as we shared them with our siblings.
  12. It’s one of the millions of reasons our neighbors to the East were always known as UCiF.
  13. Could you imagine someone getting hired without any quality losses?? Some schools are so dumb.
  14. Too naive to understand advanced metrics and still focusing on antiquated measures like wins and losses, how barbaric.
  15. There isn’t even a special exception for if your bobble head doll is sent out to all season ticket holders?
  16. I knew exactly what you were posting about but I didn’t like that it had nothing to do with me so I tried to change the subject to something I care deeply about.
  17. Any thread I jump in will have an echo until those arguing with me (I’ve softened my stance) see the error of their ways and succumb to my will.
  18. Club access at Usf can be determined by donation level with no regard to physical location of the seats. You can have endzone seats, if you so desir, as long as you give the donation minimums.
