  1. Some other fun facts the vast majority of our history has had no connection to UCF, up until we had the misfortune of becoming conference mates every conference we have been in has been better than UCFs, when UCF was a complete and utter failure and when we weren’t playing them had some of our most successful years, and pretending to be partners has brought absolutely nothing to our lives while bringing plenty to theirs.
  2. I was just about to say my guess is we would move to the Big12 in that scenario as the remaining teams will probably get some consulation money as we did when we got left behind, there will probably be some residual contracts for bowls and the like we could capitalize on in the short run, the league has better name recognition and value than the AAC, we could jettison less valuable teams on our side, we could pick up better teams to replace them and any leftover administration will be more connected than our completely out of the circle AAC leadership. Also I would just like to point out the likelihood of this being of value to USF would have no basis on UCF success, just like every single scenario anyone would be able to come up with.
  3. I am far more credible and grounded in reality than you are. You have created an imaginary narrative where UCF are intertwined and the benefit of one is the benefit of the other. This flies in the face of logic, reason and history and the burden of proof to convince people that going against their self interest is somehow long term in their best interest falls solely on you. There is just as good a chance if not greater that a more successful UCF could leave us behind where there is no reason to believe if they get a winning ticket to the promise land it’s a two person ticket or that we are the best friends going with them. USF success and USF success alone is our best shot at any future glory whether it in the G5 or getting called up to the big leagues.
  4. So is cheering for people directly competing with us for resources but you seem to enjoy that for some reason.
  5. That was the past, since realignment that we are hoping to jump on very little care had been placed on regionalization or not putting people on islands.
  6. Except they would balance their SOS out and any difference from putting all of the eggs in specific baskets would be negligible. It’s like saying cut my pizza in 6 slices because I can’t eat 8 slices it’s the exact same pie just being distributed differently. There is no P6 narrative it’s a marketing gimmick that very few people have bought into but if we don’t have any more money, prestige, or better bowl access than we don’t have any power and we are just the top of the G5 looking for slightly better pr. You may find some slight benefits that you think may be coming USF’s way if others are successful but none are more than marginal, most are conjecture and none of them come with more benefits to us than they do harm. Only USF being successful is beneficial to USF in the long run and anything else is the dumbest statement ever made (although optimistically naive).
  7. But why do you doubt that? Many conferences have shown they have zero issue with creating island schools with their new configurations. Tv dollars are all that matters and if that means being Pitt, Louisville, Syracuse, West Virginia or Rutgers not exactly near your footprint or with a travel partner no one cares any more, it’s why g-d invented airplanes.
  8. We are in no way shape or form a package deal, we have never moved conferences as a package, no teams have ever moved conferences as any form of package and not once has anyone with any form of power or connected any power conference ever referenced us as a package deal or expressed any interest in the idea. The idea exists solely on the internet and much like anything that exists only on the internet it is stupid made up nonsense.
  9. You can disagree as much as you like but that disagreement could not be further removed from reality. Some members our conference inevitably will have to win a majority of their games but for us to think any one of them, outside of us, is of any benefit more to us than any other of them is just ludicrous wishful thinking. UCONN winning a national championship has a tremendous impact, I mean not enough to even advance themselves to the big leagues, for UCONN but maybe a marginal impact at best for USF basketball (see how well we have flourished during those years). You can chant AAC! AAC! UCF! UCF! Until you are blue in the face if it makes you happy but if you think that’s somehow advancing USF beyond are current station you couldn’t be more mistaken.
  10. I’m running out of ways to try to drive home how nonsensical and absurd this idea is. I offer my Pascal’s wager variant whereby if USF does everything better than everyone else in the G5 and there is realignment we more than likely get selected over everyone we exceeded and if there is no realignment then we still exceed them and get to live peacefully as the greatest of the misfit toys and a steady stream of NY6 bowls. If we have others do better than us than if there is realignment we are likely not selected over those that have stronger resumes and if there is no realignment we get to be passed over for NY6 games in order to watch those we unwisely cheered for take what could have conceivably been our position. In every instance whether there is expansion or not it’s better for us to be successful and anyone likely situated to us to fail as miserably as possible. There is zero instances of anyone being brought into the P5 as a team and no instance of anyone with P5 decision making power ever expressing remote interest in doing so. USF is best off with USF doing well and UCF falling off a cliff and dying as better off together is nothing short of internet fodder nonsense. If you think any conference that hasn’t been willing to even bite on one of us is going to be willing to roll the dice on their careers and their media dollars to take two of us so they can get one game a year that may or may not have any meaning or interest I have beeper futures I would love to sell you. If our new logo has taught us anything it’s that fortune favors the bold and it’s being ambitious that leads to success not hoping and praying to follow the path and be dragged by the coattails of some never has been. Let’s say you met your wife out and you thought you didn’t stand the best of chances would it have been a better idea to throw caution to the wind, lay your cards out and pray for the best or to talk up your friend you think for whatever dumb reason is better than you, hope he ***** her long enough for you to gain favor and then try to slide in as she is around more with him? Being a beta trying to ride others success is never a good, safe or long sighted plan. It’s shear lunacy and UCF’s success can only come at a cost to us. This is a zero sum game and for us to win we need as many people to lose as possible, every win or success they can have is always to our detriment.
  11. I think just the seal is on my diploma, has the seal changed with this?
  12. Thinking they should continue to win so that we can have one big game in one year is the definition of short sighted. The best thing for USF would be for UCF to never win another game until eventually shutter the program or get the death penalty.
  13. We aren’t in the same conference, in the same area, competing for the exact same resources as Kansas. Months of them continuing their hype train isn’t worth the opportunity to perhaps win a game that would be perceived as marginally better by them being undefeated. When a top 10 G5 team loses they instantly become over rated non quality wins that don’t get the respect of which you dream.
  14. UCF winning is never good for USF, ever. There is no way anyone honestly thinks them continuing to be seen as a top 10 team for two consecutive years with constant media attention and the longest winning streak in the country is good for us, I just refuse to believe that.
  15. More like rivals remesured him and he lost 6” from UF to USF.
  16. It’s okay here is one from me to you, it’s the thought that counts.
  17. I mean the vast majority of people I’ve met have told me I’m a douche but that’s next level ****.
  18. Anyone that grows weary of my antics should look to NAS and be rejuvenated.
  19. but I was told we are the only ranked team that struggled on the road, ever.
  20. Forward propulsion has only been called one time ever in the history of college football.
  21. They need a good old fashioned halftime head butt
  22. I never really like starting those, I just wait for people to start talking about how he was the second coming of CJL, suggest his penultimate record and zero bowl wins suggest otherwise and then wait for the fireworks.
  23. I know you aren’t arguing with me I’m just trying to find someone to bite on something this morning. I need to find New bait.
