I’m always pro USF and USF winning; teams not named USF winning, conference solidarity nonsense, cheering for FSU idiocy and UCF/USF teamwork insanity not so much.

I was being very disingenuous, I’m all for anything that helps us win including players sitting out and other teams in our conference going down.

A win is a win is a win, no one will even know Oliver didn’t play and him being out certainly helps our chances more than it hurts them.

I’m so sad who wants to win if it’s not against a team at its best? We should look into delaying the game.

I have already created my own reality where we are not in the AAC and I will have no problem creating a world where we did not lose to this drek.

I refuse to live in a world where USF has to fear losing to lowly AAC members.

Actually if you want to compare computer rankings to computer rankings we were actually #1 in the BCS rankings when they came out in week 8 of 2007 and that was a blended average of all the computer rankings including Colley, so get that right. Fact Check

You guys are probably right I tend not to be the best with details that are not directly related to things I care about, namely me.

Some guy named ____ eats it used to say it all the time. I assume he said it one time when he expected we would lose but then we had a flare for drama and would win when we were supposed to lose so we probably won the game. Then like most fans he was probably superstitious so he started saying it for every game. Now it’s kind of everywhere on the board since it’s been around forever.

All it takes is vague anonymous twitter threats and they will stay in Orlando, I hope no USF fans would be seriously in fear of a UCF fight which would likely involve tickling, dancing or at worst a slap or two and would be highly unlikely to ever involve fists (although they probably enjoy fisting).

No one is denying the existence of the Varsity Club, it’s promotion or the benefits one may receive from joining. The question is what should be done for people that didn’t have any interest in the other benefits in the club, they were only interested in the free tickets so they didn’t sign up. The tickets did not previously have a Varsity Club requirement so they didn’t join and did not give any updates to their contact information. They then show up to the stadium like they have for many years and then learn of the policy change, it would probably draw in more members to alert them of the change, give them information on the club, collect their updated contact information and give them a free ticket for the game than it does to slam the door in their face and lecture them on the foresight they should have had that the policy would change at some point.

Except in that circular logic they would have had to know that they had to join the Varsity Club but if previously that wasn’t a requirement for tickets there would be no reason to think you had to update your contact information to find out that you now had to join the varsity club.

But if the last time they were there all they had to do was show up and get tickets like they had for years previous how would they know that was their new responsibility?

I don’t think Matt thinks that’s the only addresses that USF can email, I think his point is that’s probably the last email address the school has for many of the players. If someone hadn’t played at USF in 15 years there maybe a chance they haven’t thought to update their email address with the school in a while and if they weren’t aware of a policy change it would be nice if we could get their new contact information, maybe a pamphlet on the new club as a way to future tickets to go along with a ticket or two for old times sake since we seem to give them out to random clubs, schools, groups, first responders etc week in and week out.

I think the ultimate trolling move for him would be to rank us if we eventually lose saying he was being consistent and we finally had a quality loss, I would almost respect that move.

We may not have any losses but our wins are starting to look more quality, so that's nice.
