I removed my post as it hurt too bad too pick against the Bulls.

I too have been to many college football stadiums and of course there is no stadium where it is deafening throughout the entire game but at least there are times when it is in fact deafening and a good time would be when you are third and long or fourth and anything on defense. As far as a two bits thing it is not my favorite but at least the guy is cheering, which in all is a good thing.

I was sitting in the left hand side of the student section so that would explain why I was the ONLY person standing the entire game and there were more students there than were at any game when I was a student. I just longt for the day when the entire student section is up for the game and a good portion of the people between the 20's at least know there is a game going on.

It just bothers me that people will be talking about a lack of atmosphere in our stadium compared to other schools while they refuse to cheer and ask you to please sit down.

Our fans arrive late, sit quietly for a couple of hours and then leave early. When people do cheer our team has the ball and the QB is waving his hands down in order to quiet them and when it is third and long and the defense is jumping around waving their hands in the air trying to pump people up it sounds like you are at a funeral, only a little more quiet. I was a guest in the student section most of whom thought it was not cool to cheer or stand and many questioned when they could leave to go party or worse yet go watch the UFvsUT game :'( The worst part of the whole thing was besides the UCF section (of course they were a concentrated group of die hards since they traveled, as is the case with any visiting section we occupy) I think our student section was the most into the game as I do not recall any other section standing up and cheering on third and anything or fourth and anything for that matter. > I am glad that I am a fan of USF and not of our fans because while I tend to be excited about what we put on the field I am rarely ever excited about what we put in the stands, I only pray that one day as a group we will care more about USF football than beer and other games :'(

Jay, please excuse my ignorance of UCF but what exactly is your tradition beyond a tolerance of losing?

Jay, loose is how one would describe your girlfriend whereas lose would be used to describe what UCF is going to do on Saturday night. Perhaps you should spend a little less time at the games celebrating your losses and a little more time in class.

Today "we" decided that we will just watch the game on ESPN, after she told me I could go if I do not not care about possibly missing the birth of my first son. When it comes down to it, it's not that hard of a choice to make (thanks to ESPN )

Bad news is she is a Gator but he will certainly be a baby Bull.

While she does like going to games with me, I do not think she would enjoy the heat, noise and walking while on the verge of giving birth.
