  1. I agree. The UAB bias was pretty glaring. Hopefully, my USF bias is more correct than their UAB bias. Obviously, I'd love to see a blowout victory in our favor.
  2. Position-by-position breakdown for UAB vs. South Florida WWW.AL.COM UAB faces South Florida in the 7th annual Children's Harbor game at...
  3. Works for me. I still get warm fuzzies thinking about that intramural ultimate Frisbee campus championship my team won back in 1990-something. Championships of any sort mean something and last forever.
  4. And their conferences are more "Powerful..." Even though my personal preference is for USF to move to the ACC in the near future, one thing you can't take away from the AAC is that it's got just enough credibility that when a team like USF wins a lot of games and takes the conference championship the season seems very respectable to fans and the college football community as a whole. We've seen it in the recent past with our former foes. Hopefully, it's our turn this season.
  5. This year's USF football team is slowly gaining national interest by not getting destroyed by Bama and following that up with two solid wins with a great young QB and head coach. The weak AAC schedule has people thinking USF could actually win out. As a fan, I prefer USF's current situation over what many of our former conference mates are experiencing so far. The future is bright for USF.
  6. I agree. CBS Sports seems more professional than ESPN somehow. CBS is more like classic sports coverage maybe?
  7. If we are invited to this bowl game then it will be my first time ever in that stadium. Also, attendance could be higher with all the likely UCF fans there to hate watch. Plus, there would be a drastically reduced chance that our vehicles with USF markings and logos would get vandalized, as opposed to our previous games in the tin house.
  8. I just hope we are Peppermint Patty in this musical chairs game and not Charlie Brown.
  9. Don't forget the not-a-moral-victory against Bama. It may have been an L, but I think holding them to 10 points and only losing by 7 (I don't like their last TD, so I'm not counting it. ), instead of losing 100 to 0, was a perception victory. Then the Rice win obviously opened up a few minds to USF possibly being good this season. I say bring on the grandeur (minus the delusions).
  10. #BoatRaceNavy From various Internet definitions: Boat Raced - To be beaten very badly at something, especially in such a fashion that you were behind from the start and never had a chance. Comes from the Boat Race, an annual rowing competition between Oxford and Cambridge, in which the first side to get ahead can move to the middle of the river (where the current is fastest) and is almost never overtaken thereafter.
