    Funny story... At the women's game against N.C. State we were sitting in level 2 right behind Michael Kelly's box where Coach and his family were watching the first quarter. Coach had his back to the court during a timeout and the cheerleaders fired a T-shirt into the stands toward us with a slingshot. The shirt hit Coach in the back of the head, and he just turned, smiled, and continued his conversation with MK like nothing happened. Cool dude.

    Dang! I feel so bad for her. She could have been the difference between USF having a good season and a great season. Hopefully she'll recover nicely for whatever comes next for her.

    I would. Kid is elite and his finishes at the rim reminded me of Kyrie last night. I'm no basketball newbie. I know what I'm talking about.

    Reid also had 16 points last night. He blew by defenders in the lane and finished with confidence and elite skill. He's a freshman, so his game will only get stronger. I'm convinced some people are born with court vision, and Reid is showing he's one of them. Also, I think Reid played so loose last night because he had to be the man at point without thinking about Placer coming in for him.

    Definitely historic. Exciting year to be a USF basketball fan. Especially now that Sammie is back and the men's team is clicking.

    I've been really impressed with Pryor lately. He's such an enigma, quirky, energetic, and pretty darn skilled. He has been moving around like he's an NBA style guy. The chemistry seems to be flowing with all the players the past two games. They seem to have started to trust each other more. I really like Placer, but Reid is just so dynamic as a floor general. Hope they can bottle this up and keep on dominating teams!

    What's funny is I specifically remember seeing Walker miss a contested dunk in the last game, and Miguel was motioning to him afterward that he thought Walker just needed to lay it off the glass to get the and-1. I'm betting most of the guys prefer a dunk over a layup when possible though.

    Loved getting to see a 100+ point game. Sammie had just a tiny bit of rust at first but turned on the shooting for 21. Blasigh couldn't miss and outshined Sammie with 31 points.

    USF's defensive intensity really took FSU by surprise I think. Pryor played really, really tough D inside. Loving that guy's energy.
