    Isn't the whole excitement of throwing out shirts the fact that everyone doesn't get one? They might as well just hand them to the fans as they come thru the entrance.

    I'm assuming the other former players he was talking to were either on a team all ready or not interested in playing. We had a pretty competitive team that one year with DJ. I'm sure it's tough trying to form a team when you have guys out of town. No one is paying airfare or hotel and I'm sure they have to practice together at some point. I guess most would have regular jobs too.

    Seems like the only time they actually cover USF players are when they are on another team.... I really don't know how they are still in business when you can find news everywhere now.

    We do this every year. Start off with realistic expectations and then suddenly half-way thru the off-season, we're going to be world-beaters again. All these new players haven't played a real game together yet. I hope we turn things around, but I won't be losing my mind if it doesn't happen this season.

    It used to be nice when you could have an opinion that differed from someone else. Now, if you say or write something that someone else doesn't agree with, you can lose your career and have your life ruined.

    I remember complaints about Bowl Game destinations when we were selected for the Sun Bowl. Trust me, we aren't happy unless we are complaining about something.

    But wasn't there a coaching change? He just hung around longer than the ones who transferred out immediately. Kind of odd timing. Maybe they released some kind of internal depth chart and reality sunk in.

    I think we all knew what we'd be getting with this team minus Harris next season. Probably finish middle of the conference at best. Maybe new coach can bring in some better replacements.

    His brother played in the NBA for 12 years and is a current present of the NBA G-League...might have some pull there with recruits....

    I feel like Kelly was going to hire anyone who replied to his text messages at this point. It was last-call and he took home the last remaining woman at the bar, unfortunately, we can't all wear beer-goggles to every game.... Hope it works out....

    And just because it wasn't made public, MK could have approached, offered and talked to very qualified coaches who just weren't interested in coming to USF. Not everyone is just waiting for an offer to take this job.

    Plot twist: After an extensive coaching search, VPMK can't find anyone and has to re-hire Gregory.

    Wow, terrible news. I didn't know him but he seemed like an enthusiastic Bull's fan and a great person. Just another reason to make yourself slow down and be cautious when driving around pedestrians.

    It's a joke saying someone used USF as leverage to get another job. This program is a dumpster fire. He all ready had job options before the USF vacancy. At the least, he was going to be an analyst on ESPN.
