    Wait, wait , wait one minute here. Didn't UConn just give Bob Diaco an extension last year? Why did they wait three months after the season ended when all the good candidates would be off the board? I'm confused!

    I'm sorry but for me, USF needs a 45k stadium. I'm thinking along the lines of a complete bowl with closed in end zones. You can have the media deck on the visitors side and a nice row of private suites lining the Home side. This allows the camera angles to cover the home side of the stadium and capture the energy of the home crowd for those viewing at home. The stadium can be built to expand to a maximum of 65-70. This would be big enough for the life of the stadium. Come on USF let's build it.

    My opinion is that Bowl games matter more for the individual teams then the conference as a whole. They allow the players of those teams to get extra practices, gives the programs more exposure and a chance to raise their stock in the polls. As for the conferences, not so much value. Look at the B1G, ACC and SEC, they've all been minimalizing the bowl seasons for years. For them it's all about the National Championships. With the way things are set up know, it's minimalized bowls even more.

    I'm inclined to believe that McMurray's departure is a signal that that is already in the works.

    I'm shocked. You bring up the question of ethics when you're dealing with 18-20 year olds. Most of them don't even understand the word or how to apply it. As for the coaches involved, this is business as usual. It is the recruits whom make the ultimate choice, not the coaches. In my humble opinion, ethics do not apply in this instance. "Just putting that out there".

    We will be fine. Once CCS fills out his staff, they will fill out the class. You have to have your coaches in place before you enter the living room of your prospect. The recruit and his family want's to know whom they are dealing with. We have time.

    Very nice except, this is Florida. Most of the states land surface lies on top of what used to be wetlands. These areas are known for their layers of plant matter which often times are supported by naturally occurring subsurface springs. When the springs dry up or too much weight is placed on the surface, sink holes occur. So digging into the ground and thinning the surface layer isn't a good idea. My point is that a Stadium of this design isn't going to be at the top of the list in Florida. Just saying.

    Taggart loves himself some Taggart and knows The Jim will produce on Defense. It's a smart move on Taggart's part. He doesn't need to hold any animosity towards USF to help his own cause. I would have done the same. I wish them both well unless they play USF. Then it's WAR!

    It's funny how the OP didn't come here with this crap a couple months ago while the Big 12 was purported to be expanding. If I recall USF was one of the final schools on the list and yet the OP was silent then. Hmm, I guess he feels confident since the Big 12 is no longer looking to expand. I wonder what he'll be doing when the Big 12 dissolves.

    Don't forget that thanks to CWT, we now have freed ourselves from paying past coaches. We now have our entire allotted amount that can go towards current coaches. It is truly a wonderful time to be a Bull!
