    Well it's a true depiction of where USF is at now. If we were in a P5 conference it would be different but, we're not. I actually agree with his stance that Coaches find AAC jobs as the route to the top. It is just that simple. Once we get enough wins and our fan base increases, we'll we ready for the big boy table. Until then, this is our lot in life.

    Ugh! I should have done that myself. I'm not one for giving him a single click myself but, a co-worker showed me the article. It is a reasonable presentation of current feelings and perceptions.

    I voted for Strong for the publicity storm that would follow him all season long. We could use the hype to bolster our rankings.

    I doubt it but, it would be a huge media hit.

    I know, I was just putting it out there. I hope he comes here but, I'm not going to hold my breath.

    While I doubt Charlie Strong comes to USF. If he does, there will be a huge media buzz about the Bulls all off season and that along with the fact almost all our starters are returning would help boost us in all the early polls. USF should we win our Bowl game, could be ranked in the late to mid teens at the start of next season. Now couple that along with our easy schedule and the fact that we may face a couple ranked teams from our own conference, we could actually sneak into the playoffs. Yes I know we aren't a P5 team but, for all intensive purposes we would have a P5 HC. The publicity of Charlie Strong's demise at Texas and Resurrection at USF would be a media topic all season long.

    Charlie Strong has 10 million reasons not to coach next year. I'd say Kiffin is a risk and playing it safe would leave Larry Scott.

    For those that can't be healed, I can rent people whom help me forget them. No hard feelings though. I wish him well and am looking forward to our new coach whom ever he is.

    This ^^^. I think Kelly is Oregon's guy. The hold up may have to do with the NFL and their contract issues.

    If it's any consolation; If realignment happens next year, I'm guessing USF is in. Just check who the Big 12 Coaches ranked in the Coaches Poll. I think we have some supporters now.

    I'm going out on a limb here and betting that Big 12 jobs aren't P5 safe territory.

    LSU, Florida, Iowa and Pitt being in that poll and ahead of us speaks volumes for the bias that is the P5. How in hell did Pitt move up while we dropped/stayed the same?

    Don't worry. If we play and beat an SEC team in our Bowl game and Houston plays a close game with San Diego State, we'll jump them in all polls.
