Had a cople pretty epic beer tastings the last two days. Here's the aftermath:

I also went to Peg's Cantina in Gulf Port yesterday and I highly reccomend it for anyone here looking for a good place to go grab a couple of pints and some good food. Their Dancing Cody IPA was awesome, as was their imperial porter. They also had some pretty **** good beers on tap like The Breury's 4 Calling Birds which I haven't seen on tap anywhere else.

Here's a great resource and community for all beer lovers beeradvocate.com This place has everything from beer reviews, rankings, definition of styles, matching beer to glassware, and a ton of really informative information on the forums and various articles.

Thats been at the top of my bookmarks for a long time.

Great site :)

Been thinking of getting into homebrewing myself.

Anyone have recommendations on where to buy supplies/ingredients?

Southern Brewing and Winemaking supply on Busch is a great spot.

The Belgian that I just had and really enjoyed was St. Bernardus Abt 12. Outstanding!

Made a beer store run after work today and picked up: Terrapin Moohoo Chocolate Milk Stout, Swamp Head Brewing-Saison Du Swamp, and Cigar City's Humidor IPA.

Impressive...I'm just not that experimental...I am enjoying the Blue Moon again this evening.

Is Hubb's Pub still around? Years ago they boasted on 300+ beers (bottled) and 30 drafts. Spent a lot of time and brain cells there. That was really before the micro-brew sensation and most of their 300 were from around the world. Loved that place.
