TAMPA (April 11, 2015)— Casey Mullholland led the way for the USF baseball team to clinch its third conference series as the Bulls shut out ECU, 10-0, Saturday night.

Glad we got 2 out of 3, need to keep doing that bc we still have a very tough schedule and getting 2 out of 3 each series should win us the conference. Baseball is always interesting how one day u can score 10 runs and the next 0. Oj to Memphis and we will probably lose on tuesday which is ok, bc seems when w llow on tuesday we win 2 out of 3 on the weekend.

Eh. They were into their bullpen by the 4th. Like I said, a lot of poor at bats from our guys today. They had luck mixed with some walks, a HBP and put up some runs without doing anything overly impressive.

It's the nature of baseball to go cold at times, but it sucks to watch your team getting shutout at home. We're still in the conference lead.

In the topic of NCAA Baseball. A game from yesterday:

 

Division II - #7 Minnesota State @ Bemidji State

Double Header

 

Game 1 - Minnesota wins 10 - 9

Game 2 - Minnesota wins... 41 - 20

 

Another interesting note... the 2nd game only lasted 3 hrs 55 min.

Apparently this also included a 5th inning "smoke delay" due to a car that was on fire nearby!
