Just a reminder that the women's basketball team has a nationally televised game at ECU (16-8) today at 2:00 PM on ESPNU. This should be our last challenge before our game vs. UCONN at the end of the season. Be sure to tune in to checkout today's game and support this fantastic team, GO BULLS!

I hope the team won't be looking ahead to UConn, after this game.

 

We play Tulsa at home on wed and they are on a six game winning streak, which includes a recent victory @ECU by 11 points. We haven't played them yet this season. So, we shouldn't underestimate them.

Yes, they are on a good little winning streak but it's really occurred against the bottom feeders of our weak conference. They lost to Tulane 73-34, who I'd consider to be the most comparable to us but we've swept them this season. Their margin of victory against the bottom feeders isn't convincing that they are an actual threat. They seem as though they are the cream of the CRAP* that is rising to the top of all those teams they've faced, but they won't have a prayer against an elite member of the conference.

Well, teams match up differently with various teams. It's not an exact science. All, I'm saying is that we are in no position to take any team lightly. Because, that's how you get beat. UConn goes for the jugular for 40 minutes. They aren't content with just phoning in a victory. That mindset is one of the reasons they are so tough to play, year in and year out.

Agree, there can be no let up in our play. Our level of talent, speed, and aggressiveness should allow us to prevail through these games where we statistically trump these teams on paper. Each game must have equal importance and the goal should always be to beat the team who is currently on the floor playing against you.
