most of these teams you mentioned are average

if white doesnt complete 50% usf will not win 5 games

you guys are dreaming

now if white improves dramatically and usf stops making dumb mistakes there is a chance for 5 total wins

usf is only beating TEAMS WORSE THEN THEM

we dont have the talent to beat a better team

But if we beat a team that's better than us wouldn't that make us better than them? Is it even possible to beat a team that's better than you because beating them would by definition mean your better than them wouldn't it??

Some positives from the first half of the game for sure, but let's get win #3 first. Looking at the schedule if we don't win on the road at Tulsa we are probably staring 2-7 in the face which makes this thread look silly. The 3 gimmie wins on the schedule were WCU, UConn, and SMU, and the first 2 haven't exactly inspired much confidence. At this point the best we can say is we are a little bit better than WCU, UConn and Stony Brook. NC State leading Florida State is a non factor considering they curbstomped us. I would be concerned that our last 2 FBS wins have come by a combined 6 points over a team that is currently getting crushed by Temple.

Progress today overall. Our D pushed those cornfed linemen around, and then blew past them...awesome. If we get more consistency and discipline on that young D, they could be the best in conference IMO. Offense showed signs of emerging from the turtle shell too.

 

All that tells me is, predicting where we'll be when we face UCiF is nearly impossible. We could catch an upset W with today's team.
