We've played 8 true freshmen. My guess is that number gets to 10 by the end of the year.

I respect Welch for sticking with the program through it all, but yikes I cringe when he gets targets. I mean Bronson or McCants seem like they can't be any worse, and Bronson has seen playing time. Also what has happened with Zach Benjamin? When he was recruited he seemed like a gangling version of Evan Landi - slow, yet tall and has good hands. Nothing happened to Zach, he's a redshirt freshman that needs more time to crack the lineup. He's not talented enough yet, still very young. Most of the game is 1, 2 and 3 wide receiver sets so the 4th and 5th receivers see spot duty. Adams, Welch and Bronson have seen most of the playing time. And when Davis gets back he'll jump in and take time from Welch and Bronson.
