Best quote: "...no matter how broken this program was when Taggart inherited it, the talent simply can't be that bad."

Absolutely agree. We are nowhere near "loaded" with talent, but we have enough to where we should look somewhat competent. That falls on coaching.

Depends, our talent at QB seems to be severely lacking

I somewhat agree. I've said it before, but at this point we are really forced to believe 1 of 2 things. That Matt Floyd, Bobby Eveld, Mike White, and Steven Bench are just absolutely terrible and completely inept as college football QBs OR there is an issue with coaching/scheme. I do believe Floyd and Eveld were just not good enough, but I have a very hard time saying that about White and Bench.

I don't know much about Floyd and Eveld, but White and Bench took their high school teams to state title games with White winning his and Bench losing.  So the two of them have some talent.  Let's see the coaching staff coach up the o line and the QBs to show some of that talent.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
