So we know the starting QB, we have #TheTeam in spirit and now can start to game plan for game day!

Putting my menu together for next Sat and was curious what everyone else is doing?

So far I've got some smoked Carolina ribs and black eyed peas (was always told they brought good luck). Anybody have some better suggestions?

Of coarse my nice choice of CO beers will be flowing too, pacing myself will be the biggest challenge.

I might do a hickory smoked pork shoulder with homemade western carolina style BBQ sauce on the side. at the house, then let it rest in route to the stadium. Got to do hot dogs and burgers for the younger ones in my group.

Yesterday, I picked up a 17 pound fully cooked pot roast which was made for Cracker Barrel. It probably would be good to use for a tailgate.

I'm saving it for a party at my house for one of the away games. I bought it at Packers Plus on Harney Road.

In case you are interested, below is their PDF file on food items for this week.

Are you watching the game in Tampa? I'm from Colorado and went to CU back in the day.  Littleton HS grad.

Alpine Glacier or Colorado Ale from the Tommyknocker Brewery.  Top notch.

Oh, and Avery Brewing Company (Joe's Premium, White Rascal) or Boulder Beer (Sweaty Betty, Killer Penguin) in Boulder has some top notch brews as well.
