    Thanks for the advice everyone. I went home yesterday, aND have been taking it easy for the most part, moving around as needed. I'm hoping by Friday to not need the pain meds except to sleep, so that will help. But if I'm in doubt. I have a ride lined up. At my current rate of recovery, I WILL be there.

    Good news is I get to go home in a bit. Right now my paperwork says no driving but that might be just until I feel ready, hope it's not for the two weeks before my follow up. If I'm able to drive I will be there darn it! If I can't, ESPN then.

    Quick update surgery at 430 today, woke up at 630 in recovery, and was back in my room at 8 pm. Just got done walking the hall, so I am on my way to getting out of here tomorrow.

    Thanks for the kind words. Got back to my room around 8. Any thoughts/vibes for a quick enough recovery to not miss the game would make me grateful.

    At my work, there's a bit of buzz, not just from us die hard fans, but from others who think we should have a good year. I was planning a decent size tailgate until events of today hit. Despite that My plan is to get to the stadium at 2 pm and start the festivities.

    Good point. I actually packedost of my tailgate stuff in my trunk already, but I'm sure I'll have to show restraint during the game.

    Honestly Brad, I would do that if I had to. (Maybe different booze, because I don't want to abuse the Scotch as a pain killer). I am glad I caught it today, since if I would have waited it would have been real bad come Saturday.

    Lol. Yeah. My plan is to rest and then Saturday, make it to the stadium and lean on my fellow lot 6 folks to help with setting up. Luckily I'm in Wesley Chapel so not far at all.

    So, I'm sitting in the ER, just found out my appendix has to come out. First thing I ask the Doctor is if I'll be able to make the game on Saturday. Honstly, unless I am physically unable to make the drive I'm going. I have my priorities straight right?

    Agreed, not a fan of the 3-4. I hope this move was to give some DL guys time to bulk up and take advantage of having so many linebackers. If we go 3-4 next year, I want a LOT more blitzing

    Defense definitely took a step back, but honestly much of that can be attributed to youth. Offense was horrible overall. There were some flashes, and I hope that next year we see those flashes become something consistent. If not, time for a coaching staff change.
