Its basically a Homecoming-type week but in the Spring term.

 

It started a few years ago when former Mayor Irorio formally declared April 9th as "USF Day"

Not entirely true. While she did make the day "USF day" the week was the brainchild of former student body president Juan Soltero, who launched the first one in 2010 (one of his few good ideas).
