It's already been said that Byrd is gonna be the Husky

It's spring, so much can change its hard to declare anyone anything. Byrd is getting reps there because he has experience at husky. I have a hunch there are better suited bodies to run this like like Fullwood or McGee type of player. Byrd's production at safety means he should probably stay there IMO.

Byrd is tough, but I agree that Byrd's success at safety may keep him there, and possibly a bigger, stronger guy takes the husky.  But, Allen needs his impact player there, and there's no denying Byrd brings the stick.
