He grew up and played in our local youth football league here in CT before his dad moved him to CA to play high school ball.

It would be interesting to see just how much competition we have for this guy. He will obviously go somewhere that he pretty much a lock to start. The conundrum there is logic states you would redshirt Flowers, but then in 2015, do you basically have an open QB competition between White and Flowers (and others), and you never get a chance to redshirt White - which I guess won't matter if Flowers ends up being better than him. If Wittek were to come, Floyd is all but gone if he ever wants to play somewhere, and I'm not sure Bench would transfer again (esp with having to sit out a year this time). Perhaps in 2015, if Flowers starts, you could have Bench as the backup and roll the dice trying to redshirt White then?

But for real, could see him looking at SMU perhaps. Isn't Gilbert gone? Maybe Fresno State as Carr is gone and it would be wide open, or NIU since Lynch is gone. He has the clout to get into a P5 school though if there is a need. Edited January 30, 2014 by Danm1983

I imagine Max wants to go somewhere that is a slam dunk for him to be the most talented QB on the roster.

Just to name a few. If he's wanting to stay in California my sleeper to get him would be Fresno State to replace Derek Carr.

Max has 2 years of eligibility.
