2 things good about USF football so far

The assistant coaches are probably the best group that we've had at USF in terms of experience and on paper.

 

Maybe it does take an army to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

 

And, two, the recruiting is going strong.

 

 

I tell 'ya, the day that we make the polls and get back in the top 25 again, it's going to bring a tear to my eyes.

It's over for this season.

I remember being pretty excited about the crew of buffoons Skip put together.  They looked the part on paper.  They had experience and credentials.

 

Though, the recruiting results thus far look promising.  Especially considering the 2-10 season.  Just need to finish strong.

CWT kept the team playing hard all of last season, even though we sucked out loud.  He was also quick with the hook, which resonates with players and coaches.

 

 

That is the best thing I've seen in the last few months.  In my opinion, he's established more control over this team in one year than Skip did in three.  I think football will greatly improve next year.

Good hires and so far pretty good recruiting. Now it's about chemistry, and I hope we have some!

Three things you need (not coconut and sunshine), good coaches, good players, and a sound game plan that beats other teams.

 

Well, he's made staff changes and it looks good. His staff is recruiting hard (I'll wait till we sign those recruits to jump for joy or not).

 

I really didn't like his game plan for year one; it didn't make sense to me.

 

But he's been well trained and has seen high success under the same football system. That's encouraging.

 

And I'm sure he's been on the phone with the Harbaughs and they tell him to stick with the system.

 

It's encouraging, more hopeful than one would expect after the terrible season that we just witnessed.
