I don't recall reading anything about an American Conference basketball tournament at the end of the season. When they sold the "Big East" brand, did they keep the tournament?

Every conference except the Ivy League has a tournament. The AAC tournament will be in Memphis; all 10 teams in the league will go, with teams ranked 7-10 in the standings playing in the first round and the top six teams getting a bye to the quarterfinals.

No they don't.  I know reading is not your strong suit.  Only 10 teams make the AAC tourney.  Most other conferences let every team play in their respective tournaments.

The Ivy League is the only conference with student-athletes, not athlete-students.

Not sure, I haven't seen anything definitive for beyond this year. I assume that means the AAC hasn't made its plans beyond this year public yet, but who knows.
