At this point we are #42 in Rivals Team ranking and the highest rated non P-5 team, so that's a good sign. The next:

FSU has a lot of soft verbals and shows 29 commits.  Makes me think they over booked, and will be "releasing" some.  Could help us with JoJo Robinson and Kelly (except LSU only shows 18, so they likely have room).

 

As to if we spend all schollies, I hope we get the ones we need, and save a few for the next weekend (Blackwood, especially). If we struggle to have room in a year with 31 schollies, that's a GREAT problem to have.

Those team rankings got me thinking (iphone users just went ruh roh)...

 

Is there a strong mathematical correlation between final 2013-14 AP ranking and the incoming 2014 recruiting class.

 

Looks like there is, but there are also a few interesting outliers. (UCF, U.Washington, Fresno are recruiting far below their AP ranking, while ND, Georgia, Ole Miss, and AZ are recruiting well above their AP rankings)
